The world of Invincible is more popular than ever, and 2026 promises to be a fantastic year for fans. New comic book stories are still being released, and the eagerly awaited season 4 of the animated series will soon arrive on Prime Video. Plus, Invincible is jumping into the world of fighting games with Incredible VS., and a recent update to another Invincible game is adding even more content that longtime players will love.
Recently, it was announced that the popular comic book and animated series Invincible would be getting its own card game as part of UVS Games’ UniVersus line. This game will allow characters from Invincible to cross over with those from other franchises like Attack on Titan, Street Fighter, and Godzilla. Initially, the plan was for a single pre-made deck with perhaps one or two Invincible characters. However, UVS Games has now announced they’re significantly expanding the game into a full booster set, meaning many more characters and gameplay options will be available when it launches in 2027.
What Does Invincible’s Booster Update Mean For Franchise Fans?

This is a significant update! If you’re new to how characters and decks work in UniVersus, or how this affects Invincible, we’ll explain it. UVS Games announced that Invincible is joining UniVersus with special pre-made decks. These decks focus on a single character and usually contain about 60 cards.
Most pre-constructed decks usually center around a single main character, with only a few supporting characters included. For example, a deck focused on Mark would primarily feature cards related to him and his powers, though it might also include a card or two featuring characters like Omni-Man or Atom Eve. The vast majority of the cards, however, would be about Mark himself.
Booster Sets offer a much larger collection of cards than Starter Sets. Each box contains 24 packs, with 11 cards in each pack, giving you 264 cards total – and that’s still less than the entire set! Unlike Starter Sets which focus on a single character, Booster Sets let you build a wider range of characters, including allies, villains, and more obscure figures, helping you create a richer game experience.
We’ve previously had pre-made decks featuring Invincible and Atom Eve, but now we can finally add more of the beloved characters from the original comic books to the game. Characters like Robot, Dupli-Kate, The Immortal, Allen, Cecil Stedman, Angstrom Levy, the Mauler Twins, Powerplex, Conquest, Monster Girl, Battle Beast, and many others are now potential additions, thanks to feedback and requests from the game’s community.
Okay, so when everyone went absolutely wild for Invincible, we knew we had to really deliver with the next set. Our players don’t just want the big heroes – they want everything from the Invincible universe, all the deep lore and iconic moments. A booster set lets us build something truly amazing that lives up to the comic. Seriously though, be warned – this one might hit you right in the feels!
Skybound’s Garima Sharma explained that when they started working on UniVersus, their main aim was to create a game that truly captured the scale and feel of the Invincible universe. She also expressed Skybound’s appreciation for UVS Games’ dedication to expanding the game to meet what fans wanted, and believes this will result in a better experience for both players and collectors over time.
Invincible’s UniVersus debut doesn’t have a release date yet, but it has been confirmed for 2027.
