Two Borderlands Games Now Available for Free for Some

Two Borderlands games are currently being offered for free, but with a few requirements. The offer is only for PC players who have both an Epic Games Store account and an Amazon Prime subscription. The free game codes are distributed through Prime Gaming, a benefit included with Amazon Prime.

If you meet the requirements, you can get two Borderlands games for free: Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. You can keep Dragon Keep until June 3rd, and Wonderlands is available until May 6th. You’ll need an Amazon Prime subscription to download them, but you don’t need to stay subscribed to keep the games. You could subscribe to claim them and then cancel your subscription the next month. Plus, Prime Gaming currently offers 17 other free games! While subscribing to Amazon Prime just for the games isn’t technically ‘free,’ most people subscribe for other reasons, making the free games a great perk.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

Released in 2022 by Gearbox and 2K Games, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a standalone adventure building on the popular Borderlands universe. It’s a follow-up to Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, which originally started as downloadable content for Borderlands 2 before becoming its own game. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands received a score of 77 on Metacritic and offers a substantial amount of gameplay, ranging from 15 to 55 hours depending on how you play and how much you aim to complete.

Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure

Originally released in 2012 as downloadable content for Borderlands 2, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep was highly praised, earning a score of 87 on Metacritic. Its popularity led to a sequel, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, and a standalone release in 2021. Players can expect between 6 and 40 hours of gameplay, depending on how they choose to play and how much they aim to complete.

Normally, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep costs $10, and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands costs $60. Buying both together saves you a total of $70.
