Pete Davidson Shows Off His Rap Skills Onstage With Machine Gun Kelly

Pete Davidson is down to be a wild boy sometimes.

The former Saturday Night Live cast member briefly stepped away from his family responsibilities to surprise fans by joining Machine Gun Kelly on stage during his London concert on March 5th.

Wearing a blue sweater, black pants, and a blue baseball cap, Pete took the stage at the O2 Arena as part of his Lost Americana Tour and performed “Roll the Windows Up,” rapping the opening verse.

He started by saying, even though he’s stuck in quarantine, his marijuana dealer still came through. He’s stocked up with a hundred packs of Backwoods cigars, enough to last him the next four months. He even spent $10,000 in cash and joked he might end up coughing up a lung from smoking so much.

Okay, so Pete was killing it on stage, you know, totally in the zone, and it’s just
everything about him is amazing. And honestly, seeing him perform while knowing he has our little Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson with Elsie Hewitt
it just melts my heart! Then, out of nowhere, MGK just jumped in! It was wild, but Pete handled it like the absolute pro he is.

We filled the tank and were feeling good, but we’re keeping things safe. Always wear a mask when we’re out, drive fast, and make the most of our time. Focused on success and staying secure – designer belt on, keeping everything held up, and definitely not following Kreayshawn.

The concert was the ideal opportunity for the comedian to make an unexpected appearance. Machine Gun Kelly—who has two children, 16-year-old Casie Colson Baker with Emma Cannon and 11-month-old Saga Blade Fox-Baker with Megan Fox—was performing a sold-out show.

The rapper announced on Instagram on March 5th that they had sold out the O2 Arena in London, as well as every other show on their current tour, saying they were overwhelmed with emotion.

He paused, seemingly stunned. “It’s incredible,” he said, recalling his start in the music scene over a decade ago. “How did we manage to achieve this? You all consistently deliver amazing performances. This is a surreal experience.”

Sharing the stage with his good friend was a moment he’ll never forget. The musician, known for his song “Emo Girl,” considers Pete, 32, to be like family.

Growing up without any brothers or sisters, I’ve always wished I had one. Pete Davidson is as close as I’ve gotten. He’s my best friend, but I also see him like a little brother—someone I can have that sibling-like relationship with. That’s something I’ve always wanted, and Pete fills that role for me, I told Howard Stern in September 2020.

Pete and Machine Gun Kelly aren’t the only celebrities who are close friends. Here are some other heartwarming Hollywood friendships.

Nicole, who has always loved her sister-in-law’s films, asked her a few years ago if she’d recreate some iconic scenes, even asking for a bit from My Best Friend’s Wedding.

During a May 2024 appearance on the Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino podcast, she recounted telling Cameron, ‘I need you to run towards me from behind the luggage cart, towards the airport.’ She explained that she was directing Cameron, essentially telling her what to say while they were driving. She added that Cameron was incredibly accommodating and freely shared the story, which she really appreciated.

Their connection started when Lawrence emailed Schumer after seeing her 2015 movie, Trainwreck. Lawrence admitted she wrote, ‘I don’t know where to begin, but I have to say it: I’m in love with you.’ They began emailing back and forth, which eventually turned into texting.

Their friendship really took off when Schumer casually invited Lawrence to join her and her high school friends for a trip to the Hamptons. Schumer was surprised when Lawrence accepted, but quickly realized Lawrence was incredibly down-to-earth. As Schumer put it, she’s “the coolest person you’ll ever meet” and fit right in with the group.

Remini was also thrilled to see Lopez perform at President Joe Biden’s inauguration. She told TopMob News she messaged Lopez, reminding her of her Bronx roots and praising her performance as truly inspiring and beautiful to watch.

After years of admiring each other’s music – they’ve won 19 Grammy Awards between them – they started talking about a possible collaboration. Adele mentioned wanting to create an official remix of one of their songs, and shared her admiration for Drake, even going so far as to purchase the same red coat he wore in a music video. Drake responded with equal enthusiasm, playfully offering to do anything for Adele, even household chores. Instead of immediately recording, they chose to spend time together, grabbing a meal and enjoying a bowling outing in Los Angeles, hinting at future collaborations.

After receiving great support from other women during her pregnancies, Eva Washington is committed to offering the same help to her celebrity friends. The friendship between two prominent television personalities began in 1976 while they worked at a Baltimore station. Although Oprah Winfrey was an anchor and Gayle King a production assistant, and they didn’t typically mix socially due to the newsroom’s structure, a snowstorm brought them together. Oprah invited Gayle, who earned $12,000 a year as a PA, to stay with her. The next day, they went shopping at the mall, and a lasting friendship blossomed over sweaters at Casual Corner.

While your dates probably don’t involve Wimbledon finals or royal palaces, Meghan Markle and a certain tennis star actually connected in a very relatable way—through casual conversation. Meghan wrote on her now-defunct website, The Tig, that they ‘hit it off immediately’ at a 2014 Super Bowl event. They bonded over taking pictures, laughing during a flag football game, and chatting about everyday things—not tennis or acting, but just typical ‘girly stuff.’

Even though Game of Thrones is over, the close bond between Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams remains strong. She joked to TopMob News at the final premiere that the series felt like an elaborate way to help her find a best friend, adding that having such a supportive friend during the show’s intense run was a true blessing.

But their genuine friendship with Swift – from Fourth of July celebrations at her Rhode Island home to appearances in her music videos – is something special and should be cherished.

She recalled Aniston repeatedly asking about her baby, which felt strange at the time. Witherspoon would explain she was pumping breast milk, and Aniston was incredibly kind and supportive. They’ve been friends ever since that initial encounter.

It continued with their VH1 cooking show, Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party. Snoop Dogg explained to LA Weekly that Martha Stewart is different from people he’s usually around, but in a good way. He appreciates that despite her different background and generation, she’s genuinely relatable and down-to-earth. He feels comfortable with her because she’s straightforward and doesn’t shock him, making their connection feel natural and almost like a perfect match – ‘holy matrimony,’ not just a quick fling (‘holy macaroni’).
