Lady Gaga’s wedding day is coming together.
The Grammy-winning singer hinted at her wedding date with her fiancé, Michael Polansky, while calling in a favor to her friend Bruno Mars.
Lady Gaga shared in a video message for Bruno that she and her fiancé have been traveling extensively throughout the year. She explained they are planning to get married and asked if Bruno would pick a song for their special day.
Bruno offered a lovely idea for Gaga and Michael, who announced their engagement in April 2024. Michael proposed with a playful gesture – a blade of grass!
He suggested dedicating the song ‘Risk It All’ – the first track on his new album – to anyone looking for a song for their husband. He specifically dedicated it to Lady Gaga and her fiancé.
Making sure Michael also felt the love, Bruno added, “Michael this is for you too.”
Lady Gaga, whose full name is Stefani Germanotta, hasn’t announced her wedding date with Michael, but she’s hinted at what she envisions for her wedding day with her partner of seven years.
Lady Gaga, 39, shared with TopMob News in March 2025 that she’s trying to keep something very personal, but hinted it would be the happiest day of her life.
Lady Gaga also shared that her engagement to Michael was a particularly meaningful experience that inspired one of her favorite tracks on the album Mayhem.
She explained that writing “Blade of Glass” with her fiancé led her to reflect on her life experiences, giving the song a somewhat eerie quality. She recalled a specific moment while writing the bridge: she offered something symbolic, saying it wasn’t a diamond ring, and he responded with the beautiful sentiment, ‘The air that I’m breathing.’
