Daredevil: Born Again Season 2’s Latest Teaser Gives A Sneak Peek of the Latest Hallway Fight

The second season of Daredevil: Born Again arrives on Disney+ in a few weeks, and we’re starting to see more previews. The marketing for this season is different than what fans might expect, using a distinctive style with emotional music over exciting action clips. The new season will be a gritty crime drama focusing on Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio), as he controls New York City as mayor. Meanwhile, Matt Murdock, also known as Daredevil (Charlie Cox), is gathering a team of heroes to challenge Kingpin and restore law and order to the city.

As a huge Daredevil fan, I just saw the new teaser for Season 2 of Born Again, and it feels very similar in tone to the previous ones. But honestly, the footage is incredible – there are some really powerful new scenes, and it looks like they’re bringing back a character a lot of us loved from the original Netflix series! I’m so excited!

Daredevil: Born Again Is Upping the Action (Thankfully)

New footage from Born Again Season 2 gives us a closer look at the hallway fight scene previously shown in the trailer. It appears this fight is part of a bigger battle where Daredevil and Jessica Jones team up against a police unit controlled by Mayor Fisk. Earlier clips showed the fight starting in a large warehouse, with Jessica Jones powerfully taking down several opponents. Combining these recent teasers, it’s becoming clear that Matt and Jessica will face a long and difficult fight to escape the facility, including a drawn-out, collaborative battle down a tight, white hallway.

The hallway fight in the second episode of Netflix’s Daredevil Season 1 was incredibly innovative. Inspired by films like the Korean movie Oldboy, its single-take style was a first for many mainstream viewers. Daredevil continued to use these long-take action sequences throughout the series, eventually leading to a full-scale prison riot fight in Season 3. The first episode of Daredevil: Born Again attempted its own version of the hallway fight, with Matt Murdock battling Bullseye from a bar, through an apartment building, and finishing on a rooftop. However, the complex filming and visual effects in Born Again didn’t live up to fans’ memories of the original Netflix show and gave the new series a shaky start.

The new season of Daredevil: Born Again seems to be delivering more action, which is a positive change and a great way to attract viewers. The first season faced significant issues because it had to be completely reworked and reshot, putting it at a disadvantage from the beginning. This time around, Marvel Studios Television appears to be aiming for a strong and confident start. The exciting preview of Daredevil and Jessica Jones teaming up in a hallway fight definitely suggests they’re on the right track.

Daredevil: Season 2 premieres on Disney+ on March 24th.
