What Britney Spears Texted to Longtime Friend After DUI Arrest

Britney Spears is stronger than yesterday, according to her inner circle.

According to Sean Phillip, a longtime friend and former assistant, Britney Spears texted him right after her DUI arrest in California, sharing what happened.

He reported that she told him, ‘I’m okay.’ He asked if he could talk about it, and she gave him the go-ahead, saying, ‘Yeah, go ahead,’ during the March 6th broadcast of Good Morning Britain.

Sean, who communicates with Britney several times a week, clarified that this event isn’t a sign of things escalating or leading to more problematic behavior.

“It’s not her character,” Sean continued. “She’s not a harmful person.”

I was so shocked to hear that Britney was briefly detained by police in Ventura County on March 4th. Apparently, it happened around 9 p.m., and thankfully, she was released the very next day. I’ve read she has a court date coming up on May 4th, and I’m hoping everything gets resolved quickly and smoothly for her.

Following her arrest, a spokesperson for Britney stated that she will “follow the legal process and do what’s required of her.”
