Major Isekai Anime Confirms Release Date & Episode Count Ahead of Crunchyroll Return

A popular anime series, Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World, is getting a new season this April on Crunchyroll. With so many “Isekai” (another world) anime competing for viewers, it’s the established franchises like Re:Zero* that really stand out, especially when they continue with multiple seasons.

I just learned that *Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World Season 4 is officially premiering in Japan on Wednesday, April 8th! Along with the release date, they’ve announced that this season will have 19 episodes, and they’ve given us a preview of the story arcs we can expect to see. It’s exciting to get a first look at what’s coming in Season 4!

Re:Zero Season 4 Confirms Release Date & Episode Count

The fourth season of *Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World will have 19 episodes, split into two parts. The first part, “The Loss Arc,” will premiere on April 8th and consist of 11 episodes. Following that, “The Recapture Arc” will begin on August 12th with eight episodes. A planned episode schedule has been released, which should help ensure a smooth release without the delays some fans experienced with previous seasons.

Crunchyroll will be streaming the latest episodes of the series for fans outside of Japan. While you wait, you can watch previous seasons, specials, and more on their service. The ending theme for Season 4 of *Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World is “Ender Ember” by MYTH & ROID featuring TK from Ling tosite sigure. Previously, it was announced that Konomi Suzuki and Ashnikko would perform the opening theme, titled “Recollect.”

What to Know for Re:Zero Season 4

Masahiro Shinohara, who directed the third season, is back to direct Season 4 of the anime Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World. WHITE FOX is the animation studio producing the season. Masahiro Yokotani will handle the scripts, Haruka Sagawa will design the characters, Keitaro Chiba will design the monsters, and Kenichiro Suehiro will compose the music. The original voice actors will also be returning to play their characters.

Season 4 of *Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World will feature some exciting new cast members! Fairouz Ai will voice Saula, Tomokazu Sugita will play Reid Astrea, Kengo Kawanishi will be Roy Alphard, and Konomi Kohara will voice Rui Arneb. As the new story arcs begin this Spring, fans can look forward to seeing what’s in store.
