Danica McKellar didn’t expect this when she was expecting.
Danica McKellar, known from The Wonder Years, recently shared memories of giving birth to her son, Draco, now 15. She recounted the experience with her ex-husband, Mike Verta, from 2010, and revealed one specific detail that has always stuck with her.
On the March 10th episode of The BobbyCast, she recounted how her doula asked, ‘Would you like to try tasting your placenta?’ She explained she’d just given birth and wasn’t thinking clearly at the time.
But to Danica’s surprise, the organ was far more appetizing than she could have imagined.
She described it as even better than the best steak she’d ever had. She was almost embarrassed by how much she enjoyed it, finding the experience strange and leaving her wondering what made it so good.
After host Bobby Bones playfully compared the former child star to a “cannibal,” she explained that the situation was actually quite normal.
She said it’s something we should naturally be doing, and she wondered why we’d stopped. Animals still do it, she pointed out.

Danica has said that when it comes to raising her son, Draco, it’s important to focus on what matters most so you don’t get stressed out.
In a recent interview with Parents magazine, she explained that she avoids feeling overwhelmed by breaking down tasks instead of trying to tackle everything at once. She admitted that if she tried to think about everything simultaneously, she’d likely become stressed and unable to cope.
Fortunately, her acting career taught her skills she was later able to apply to parenting.
Growing up, I learned to juggle a lot at a young age,” she said. “I’d be filming a scene, then immediately switch to doing schoolwork like a 20-minute math test, and then go right back to set to film a sad, emotional scene.

In June 2024, NFL player Jason Kelce jokingly tweeted about someone suggesting he doesn’t wash his legs or feet. He responded with a playful, “What kind of person washes their feet…?”
The retired Philadelphia Eagles player later doubled down on his comments.
During an episode of his podcast, New Heights with his brother Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes joked, ‘Who would wash your feet?’ He continued, ‘If I see dirt, I’ll scrub it off.’

More than ten years after telling a story about witnessing a clown’s death in a car explosion at the circus when he was a child, the actor known for Twilight has confessed that the story was made up.
Robert remembered telling The New York Times Style Magazine in December 2024 that he reacted with complete surprise, saying, ‘What on earth? Are you possessed?’
As for what he said during the 2011 Today interview promoting his film Water for Elephants?
He explained that one of the clowns had died in an accident. Their miniature car exploded, and it was a frightening experience for everyone there, causing them to quickly evacuate.

Grandma knows best.
Kim Kardashian recently shared a personal story on her show, The Kardashians, about how her grandmother, Mary Jo “MJ” Campbell, unexpectedly played a role in a private moment she shared with Pete Davidson back in October 2022.
Kim Kardashian told MJ, Kris Jenner, and Khloé Kardashian that she and Pete Davidson were at the Beverly Hills Hotel last weekend. They were chatting by the fireplace for hours, and she remembered her grandmother telling her that having sex in front of a fireplace is a way to truly enjoy life. So, they decided to do it as a tribute to Kris.
Grandma’s reaction? A nod of approval.
Kim found it unsettling to think about her grandmother before being intimate, and MJ responded by saying she understood, but she too had been young once.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have a very close family, including their children, 8-year-old Wyatt and 6-year-old Dimitri, and their love for each other is endless.
So much so, that the Black Swan actress revealed they keep an open-door policy at home.
She told TopMob News in September 2022 that this also included accidents in the bathroom. She explained it’s become normal for her family and children to just accept bodily functions as they happen.
Mila explained that she finally gave in after her family repeatedly asked to come inside. She said she just decided to leave the door open rather than continue trying to keep them out.
Pre-kids, she might not have imagined she’d flush that particular boundary away.
She said she never imagined she’d be comfortable enough to use the restroom with the door open.

Jennifer Garner shared a funny story about a mishap on set. While filming the 2007 movie The Kingdom, she accidentally bit her own tongue during a fight scene – a bit more than she bargained for!
Jennifer described a scene with Sala Baker where the director, Pete Berg, instructed her to realistically attempt to fight for her life. She explained that they hadn’t rehearsed much choreography, and Berg told her to do whatever it took to survive.
She continued, explaining that they both jumped into action, and she ended up climbing onto his back. She even bit his ear – they have a photo to prove it, showing a piece of it missing, because they weren’t joking around.

Ghouls just want to have fun.
During an October 2022 episode of The View, while discussing a woman who claimed her home was haunted by “sexual ghosts,” Sara Haines posed a surprising question to her co-hosts: “Is it possible to get pregnant from a ghost?”
Luckily, Joy Behar, her co-host, chimed in with a humorous response: “I’ve had encounters with ghosts and never gotten pregnant.”
“I’m going to leave that statement as is,” Whoopi Goldberg responded. “I’m not sure everyone heard what Joy said, but I’m not going to comment further on it.”

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always fascinated by the little things that reveal a lot about people, and this is a good one! I was hearing from sources that Hoda Kotb recently found out something surprising about her co-host, Jenna Bush Hager. Apparently, while getting ready for their show, Today with Hoda and Jenna, Jenna confessed she never wears underwear! It’s a fun little detail that just shows how comfortable they are with each other – and how confident Jenna is!
Hoda Kotb recounted a funny moment from a November 2022 episode of Today with Hoda and Jenna. She explained that they both needed to quickly change outfits and had to return to the dressing room. While there, Hoda realized Jenna Bush Hager doesn’t wear underwear.
Jenna’s rationale? Well, no underwear might just be more convenient to her.
She explained that the style creates a more flattering shape and also allows you to pack lighter. She added that there are many other benefits, too!

Looks like someone hasn’t been keeping up.
Britney Spears related to a popular line from Keke Palmer – “He could be walking down the street, and I wouldn’t know a thing” – because she confessed she didn’t recognize Pete Davidson or Scott Disick.
Britney shared a funny video from March featuring Pete Davidson—who was dating Kim Kardashian at the time—and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex, Scott Disick, having a night out. She said the video had her laughing a lot.
Britney explained she was resharing the video because she found it hilarious, even though she doesn’t know who’s in it. She later removed the post.

Before Chris Evans became famous as Captain America and was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2022, Jana Kramer dated him and thought he was a charming and attractive guy.
The singer shared on her podcast, Whine Down with Jana Kramer, that this happened over ten years ago. While she doesn’t remember exactly how many times they went out, she does remember their final meeting.
Jana, who was around 26 at the time, said Chris asked her to come over when he had some friends visiting from Boston.
Jana recalled that the last thing she remembered was her partner going to the bathroom right after she’d eaten asparagus, which changes the smell of your urine. They didn’t end up intimate that night; he stayed up late with friends, and the next morning, she left his house feeling embarrassed – what she jokingly called the ‘asparagus walk of shame.’
She added, “I never heard from him again.”

Not all of these confessions are amusing.
As a lifestyle expert, I was shocked to learn the truth about Elisabeth Finch, a writer who, for eight years, led people to believe she was fighting a rare bone cancer. She originally shared this story with ELLE magazine, and it even became a plotline on Grey’s Anatomy. Just last December, she admitted it was all fabricated – a complete ruse. It’s a really unsettling situation, and highlights the importance of authenticity and truthfulness, even in personal storytelling.
Elisabeth recently shared with The Ankler newsletter that a lie she told at age 34 was her biggest regret. She explained that the falsehood grew over time and became a heavy burden. She also clarified that she has never been diagnosed with cancer.
Finch, who was temporarily removed from his role on the ABC medical show before ultimately quitting, admitted, “I messed up, and it was completely unacceptable. I own that.”

Beauty is pain, but Kim Kardashian might be able to stomach it.
The reality star told The New York Times she’d try almost anything to look younger.
Honestly, I swear, she said she’d consider eating… well, let’s just say something truly awful every single day if it meant looking younger! She actually said it! Like, she wasn’t even joking, she really seemed like she’d actually do it. I was floored! It just proves how dedicated she is to her craft, you know? I’m obsessed!
Kim Kardashian told Allure in July 2022 that she was mostly kidding when she made the comment, but admitted it wasn’t a completely awful idea.
Kim admitted, after some thought, that she’d likely do almost anything for youth, even something disgusting. ‘If someone told me eating a bowl of poop daily would make me look younger, I’d probably do it,’ she said.
She wasn’t sure how much she could eat. “Perhaps just a small bite,” she said. “I definitely couldn’t manage a whole bowl.”

Jelly Roll could’ve used some saving from himself.
During an April 2025 interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the singer of “Save Me” shared a particularly embarrassing story, and he didn’t shy away from the details.
“I pooped myself one time,” he admitted. “I did, I’m sorry.”
To be honest, Jelly Roll (whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord) didn’t intend to cause such serious harm.
He firmly believed it was just a misunderstanding. “I sincerely apologize,” he said. “I saw the audience turn from supportive to completely against me.”
