Bethenny Frankel is dealing with a scary situation. 

Former Real Housewives of New York City star Luann de Lesseps accidentally cut her face while trying a new beauty product, resulting in cuts on her cheeks.

Bethenny shared a video on Instagram on March 13 showing an injury she sustained while filming. She assured followers she was okay, but shaken up, and jokingly added that challenging work is to be expected.

Okay, so I was trying out this new facial contouring tool – I’d seen the ads and was really excited, especially because I sometimes struggle with jaw pain and thought it might help. I was actually on camera showing it off when, suddenly, I noticed blood running down my face! It was a total shock, and definitely not the result I was hoping for.

“Wait, I’m bleeding,” she exclaimed. “What the f–k! Oh my god. What is this?”

The founder of Skinnygirl admitted she was really scared, because the item she was using was made of glass.

“It was really frightening,” Bethenny explained. “Something was heading straight for my neck, and I could have seriously injured myself.”

Bethenny, who has a 15-year-old daughter named Bryn with her ex-husband Jason Hoppy, didn’t share specifics about her current struggles. However, she has been open about her ongoing battle with chronic kidney disease, recently revealing that it has worsened to stage three.

In a recent Instagram video, she explained that her doctor found some damage to her kidneys, likely caused by a severe allergic reaction she had a few years ago. While it doesn’t require medication yet, she’s been advised to drink plenty of water. She admitted this advice actually makes her anxious, as she often struggles with staying hydrated.

Savannah received immediate medical attention on the field and was taken to a nearby hospital for more tests, according to a statement from the National Women’s Soccer League. They reported that she is currently in stable condition and is alert.

Adam Devine revealed that injuries from a childhood accident – he was hit by a cement truck at age 11 – continue to cause him problems now.

“It’s been incredibly difficult,” Devine shared on the In Depth With Graham Bensinger podcast in 2025. “I experience spasms all over my body, and doctors recently told me I was facing a life-threatening situation—I was told I might not have much time left.”

He mentioned that his pain is intermittent, explaining that his body has some minor imperfections and isn’t quite working as it should.

Hailey successfully underwent a procedure to close the PFO and is now recovering well.

The same year Hailey faced a health issue, Justin also experienced one. In June 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a condition that caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face. This forced him to cancel the rest of his Justice World Tour.

In a video posted to Instagram, Justin explained that the virus affected nerves in his ear and face, preventing him from blinking, smiling, or moving his nostril on one side. He also shared that it had become increasingly difficult to eat.

Fortunately, the paralysis eventually went away. Hailey shared on Good Morning America that Justin was recovering well, saying it had been a frightening experience, but he was going to be okay and was thankfully doing much better.

Jamie Foxx recently shared details about the health scare he experienced in April 2023, which he had previously kept private. In his 2024 Netflix special, What Had Happened Was…, he explained that he was suffering from a severe headache when he suddenly lost consciousness. He doesn’t remember the next 20 days.

But then, a scan in 2013 revealed the growth had doubled in size, and she needed another surgery! She said she woke up screaming from the pain because the first attempt failed, and she was bleeding badly. They literally had to open her skull! It was so scary! But the best part is, she’s now at 100%! She’s such a warrior, and I’m just so relieved she’s okay. It makes me appreciate her even more, if that’s even possible!

Cori Broadus, Snoop Dogg’s daughter, recently shared how much she appreciates her family’s support after a health scare. In January 2024, Cori suffered a stroke and immediately reached out to her loved ones, sending a text and photo to alert them. She told TopMob News that everyone quickly came to her aid.

Cori ended up staying in the hospital longer than expected due to other health issues. While she could have gone home after the stroke, she was also dealing with lupus and kidney problems.

Fortunately, Cori is now recovering well. She says she’s feeling great and has been working on regaining some motor skills, but is otherwise doing fine.
