I really enjoyed BrokenLore: Unfollow when it came out last year, and now Serafini Productions is releasing the next chapter, BrokenLore: Follow, on June 1st! I’m super excited to see what happens next in the story.
Anne is still struggling with the same issues as before, and it seems her painful memories of her parents are at the root of her current problems. The latest trailer shows the game has a new, unsettling visual style. For players new to the series, it’s important to know that Anne previously dealt with bullying and an eating disorder, caused by relentless teasing at school – these classmates were the primary source of her distress in the first game.
Looking back, it was a smart move to really dive into the character’s home life in the second game. It builds up perfectly to the big finale in the third, which is exactly what the developer, Serafini, intended. I was a huge fan of the first game, so I’m really excited to see how they improved things with this sequel and if they fixed the problems I noticed before.
Man, June feels so far away, but I just watched the trailer and wanted to share! It gives you a good look at what’s coming in this game when it finally releases on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
