Capcom, a leading Japanese game publisher, is having a remarkable year. Both Resident Evil Requiem and Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection have received excellent reviews, potentially making this a landmark year for the company.
We’re also excited about Pragmata, which looks like it could be one of the top shooters this year. Plus, keep an eye out for Onimusha: Way of the Sword, slated for release in 2026.
We got a longer look at what looks like a truly great game during last week’s Capcom Showcase, but we still don’t know exactly when it will be released.
The publisher has heard your concerns, and is insisting there’s nothing to worry about.
The game is still very much in the final stages of development:
We really appreciate all the great feedback on last week’s Capcom Spotlight! It’s awesome to see so much excitement for the game’s release date. The team is currently finishing up development, and we’ll share more news soon!
So it sounds like the next time Capcom shows the game, it’ll come with a release date attached.
We imagine this will be announced at some point in the summer, ahead of an autumn release date.
With the highly anticipated release of GTA 6 in November, it’s unclear when this will fit into the schedule, and many in the industry are likely feeling the pressure.
Our guess? August. But when do you think it will drop?
