The popular heist movie series has scored another success! The third film recently appeared on streaming charts and is now performing well on Starz, continuing its impressive run.
The movie Now You See Me: Now You Don’t is currently the most popular film on Starz in the United States, according to data from FlixPatrol. It reached the top spot just one day after becoming available on March 14th, and is performing better than any other movie on the streaming service, suggesting it will remain a hit for weeks to come.
Starz is a streaming service currently only available in the United States, but the film is doing well internationally too. It’s reached the top 10 on every streaming platform where it’s offered.
Despite also performing well on streaming platforms, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t was a significant box office success, earning over $200 million with a budget of around $90 million. Though it didn’t make quite as much as the second Now You See Me movie, it’s still considered a hit, and its recent availability for streaming only confirms that.
Will There Be a Now You See Me 4?
Following the success of its most recent movie in theaters, positive fan feedback, and a strong start on streaming, the Now You See Me franchise is set to continue. A fourth film has been officially greenlit, and Ruben Fleischer, who has been involved with the series previously, will direct.
Although the exact plot is still unknown, the next movie will likely be another large-scale adventure, similar to the last one. Most of the original actors, like Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher, and Lizzy Kaplan, are expected to reprise their roles.
The introduction of new villains, potentially called the Four Horsemen, could pave the way for a new generation of magicians to lead the series. Although a fifth movie isn’t confirmed yet, Lionsgate is definitely planning for the franchise to continue for years to come.
The hit movie Now You See Me: Now You Don’t is now available for streaming and proving to be a big success. Good news for fans – more movies in this exciting heist series are planned, so you can expect plenty more from the Four Horsemen in the future!
