John Krasinski announced the cast for the next ‘A Quiet Place’ movie, including new member Jack O’Connell, known for his role in ‘Sinners and Skins‘.
John Krasinski will be back to write, produce, and direct the new film, which is scheduled to come out on July 30, 2027.
On Monday, March 16th, John Krasinski shared a photo of scripts on Instagram, revealing that Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe will all return for the next installment of the movie.
Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, and Emmett will reprise their roles as Regan, Marcus, and a family friend, while Emily Blunt returns as Evelyn Abbott.
Joining Jack O’Connell, known for his role in ‘Sinners,’ are Jason Clarke from ‘Brotherhood’ and Katy O’Brian of ‘The Mandalorian.’ What roles they’ll play hasn’t been announced yet.

A Quiet Place 3 concludes the original trilogy, and is the fourth film overall in the series. Following the release of the prequel, A Quiet Place: Day One (starring Joseph Quinn and Lupita Nyong’o) in 2024, John Krasinski wrote the script but handed over directing responsibilities to Michael Sarnoski.
Details about the next movie are still a secret, but the story follows the Abbott family as they try to survive in a world taken over by blind creatures who hunt using sound.

The new movie will continue the story from where “A Quiet Place Part II” ended in 2020. That previous film revealed Regan’s discovery of a sound signal that could disable the creatures, and this next installment will build on that development.
O’Connell is continuing his run in horror films, following his roles as villains in the Oscar-winning Sinners and the upcoming 28 Years Later sequel, The Bone Temple.
The upcoming third ‘A Quiet Place’ film will bring together the actor and director again, as they previously worked on ‘The Bone Temple.’ Interestingly, despite being in the same movie, they didn’t actually share any scenes together.
Daniel O’Connell will play Larry Lamb, the previous editor of The Sun newspaper, in an upcoming biographical film directed by Danny Boyle, called Ink.
