As someone who keeps a close eye on pop culture, I recently heard from the artist behind “Endless Summer Vacation” about the possibility of her performing at a Super Bowl Halftime show. It’s something she’s actually given a lot of thought to, and she’s already started envisioning what that performance could be like!

Miley, 33, recently told Variety that the Super Bowl feels like an enormous amount of pressure. She explained that she’d need to mentally reframe the event to avoid being overwhelmed by the fact that it’s watched by millions of people worldwide and is the most-viewed event of its kind.

She added that if she could recreate the feeling of the Hannahversary – really listening to all of Taylor Swift’s music and enjoying each song and period for what it is – she thought she could finally feel okay.

Miley Cyrus is keeping her promise and continuing to promote the upcoming Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, set to launch on Disney+ on March 24th. In the trailer, she revisited her famous role, wearing Hannah’s signature blonde wig while walking around the original show set. She also recreated the cover of Hannah Montana’s first album, wearing a similar white jacket and sparkly top.

The Grammy-winning artist, who is engaged to Maxx Morando, isn’t simply revisiting her Disney past for this upcoming special. She’s actually been incorporating the spirit of her Disney character into her music for more than ten years.

Miley recently told Variety that many artists feel they need to shed parts of their past to grow, but she prefers a different approach. She sees herself as a beautiful, colorful quilt – a combination of all her past experiences. Instead of discarding those experiences, she wants to embrace them and let them contribute to who she is today.

After all, she understands Hannah Montana is “not just a TV show.”

She noted that even Disney sometimes seems to lose sight of how closely people connect with her character, Hannah. She regularly sees how much Hannah means to fans – while traveling, people often give her Hannah-themed gifts and ask if there are plans for a new season.

Though the singer of Plastic Hearts didn’t say if she’ll play the character again after the upcoming Hannahversary event, she shared that she’s found a new sense of fulfillment in her work.

Miley said she’s really happy with her life now and feels like things are finally going her way. She’s comfortable with how people perceive her, which wasn’t the case when she transitioned from her role as Hannah Montana and released her album Bangerz back in 2013.
