Archetype Entertainment recently released a new trailer offering a detailed look at gameplay from their highly anticipated sci-fi action RPG, Exodus.
Even though we only saw a short clip of under two minutes, the studio’s pilot project is looking promising. The visuals are really polished, giving us a good look at the world of the Travelers and their hunt for Remnants. The combat scene, featuring Jun Aslan and Elise, immediately stood out thanks to the diverse range of weapons. Each weapon has a unique purpose and is used to take down enemies effectively and powerfully.
This short video showcases the game’s platforming, which features a useful grappling hook. It also gives us a glimpse of the intriguing Sankhara Glyph Shrine, a visually impressive location powered by advanced technology. While we’ll have to wait until summer for a more in-depth look, this initial reveal is a promising start.
If you’re just discovering this game, it’s clear the creators are huge fans of Mass Effect. They’ve put a lot of effort into making the optional side stories just as interesting as the main plot, which is full of difficult choices and moral dilemmas.
Exodus is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, and launches in 2027.
