How to complete the Polar Opposites puzzle in Crimson Desert explained

In the beginning of Crimson Desert, you’ll encounter the ‘Polar Opposites’ quest, which includes a puzzle that unlocks a door nearby.

This is one of the first times I get to really try out my new Axiom Force ability, and honestly, it’s going to be super important for the rest of the game, so I need to get it right!

Next up, the Abyss Without Balance quest will teach you an entirely new ability to use.

But for now, let’s take you through how to solve the Polar Opposites puzzle in Crimson Desert.

How to complete the Polar Opposites puzzle in Crimson Desert explained

The Polar Opposites puzzle features two stone circles on the ground, and you’ll see energy flowing through one of them.

Use your Axiom Force to rotate the circles until energy flows completely through them, which will unlock the door.

To use Axiom Force, hold down the left stick (or the Tab key on a computer). Then, point towards the edge of the circular area on the right side of the screen and release the stick/key to grab it.

Use the right stick to rotate the circle until the energy moves from the top and flows to the left.

Now, repeat the process on the left side, using the left circle. This time, rotate it so the energy appears to move from the first circle on the right, down into the pipe at the bottom.

Completing the circuit will send power to the pillar, activating it and unlocking the door. This allows you to finish the quest and proceed with your adventure.
