Daybreak Game Company and Game Jawn are teaming up with fans to create EverQuest Legends, a new way to play the original EverQuest. It’s coming to PC in July, and you can sign up for a closed beta test in April on the game’s website.
EverQuest Legends revisits the original EverQuest experience, bringing back the classic gameplay with updated graphics and sound. It also includes improvements to make the game easier to enjoy for both longtime fans and new players.
Daybreak Game Company’s David Youssefi shared that EverQuest Legends is a long-held dream come true. For over 20 years, he’s envisioned a more accessible, single-player version of EverQuest, and he’s thrilled to be creating it with the help of dedicated fans. The team poured a lot of effort into crafting a game that respects the original EverQuest while offering a fresh experience for both longtime players and newcomers. They hope everyone will enjoy exploring the world of Norrath in EverQuest Legends.
Eda Spause, founder of Game Jawn, shared her excitement about working on EverQuest, a game she’s played and been a part of its community since the early 2000s. She said her team feels incredibly lucky to contribute to a game they’ve all enjoyed for so many years.

About
EverQuest Legends is built for players who prefer to play by themselves or at a relaxed pace. You can absolutely enjoy the whole game solo, but it also supports small groups (up to four players) and raids with up to eight players if you prefer to play with others.
Staying true to the spirit of the original game, EverQuest Legends lets you build incredibly strong characters. You can do this by choosing up to three different classes for each character – like combining a rogue, paladin, and wizard – and by using new systems to enhance your weapons and armor. As you gain experience and better equipment in EverQuest Legends, you’ll be able to tackle the game’s hardest challenges, either by yourself or with a small team.
Whether you’re a longtime fan of EverQuest, returning after a break, or completely new to the world of Norrath, EverQuest Legends lets you experience everything that made the original EverQuest great—and much more! When it launches, EverQuest Legends will include the continent of Antonica (as it was before the Kunark expansion) and all the playable races from EverQuest (like Iksar, Frogloks, and Kerran), all with the classic look and feel—including the original graphics, areas, spells, items, and music—along with some exciting new additions!

- Modern Game Features – EverQuest Legends features tons of modern game features, including a streamlined user interface, upgraded spell and ability management, and countless other quality of life enhancements.
- Forge Your Legend – EverQuest Legends allows players to create unique characters by selecting up to three classes at a time, with all of the benefits, stats, spells, and abilities that come with each class. With 15 available races and 560 possible class combinations, the possibilities for forging the ultimate character are virtually endless.
