The Mormon Wives cast isn’t keeping this rumor a secret.

Stars from the show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives are responding to claims that Jessi Draper kissed Miranda Hope’s ex-husband, Chase McWhorter, while going through her own divorce from Jordan Ngatikaura.

Miranda, who separated from her husband Chase in 2024 after seven years of marriage, shared a video on Instagram on March 26th. She set it to Kesha’s song “Backstabber” and wrote that she was getting ready while dealing with the fact that her friends seem to be there for her ex-husband.

The 27-year-old, who shares two children—Brooks and Cohen—with Chase, joked that something happening repeatedly felt less like a betrayal and more like an expected event, captioning a video, “It’s not even a betrayal at this point, it’s a tradition.”

Oh my gosh, when Miranda posted that video, even her Secret Lives costars were losing it! Whitney Leavitt actually just commented ‘I have no words,’ which, honestly, says everything, right? Like, if she’s speechless, you KNOW it’s a big deal. I’m just completely obsessed with everything happening!

Meanwhile, Layla Taylor commented, “That’s my girl,” while Mayci Neeley posted two wide-eyed emojis.

Jennifer Affleck hinted at the cancellation of Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of The Bachelorette by playfully suggesting Miranda should have been the Bachelorette instead. Meanwhile, Mikayla Matthews described the recent troubles within their friend group as “The week straight from hell.”

Miranda reiterated her desire for Chase—who has dated Layla and once showed romantic interest in Taylor—to stop pursuing relationships with women in the MomTok community.

Miranda wrote at the bottom of the note, adding a little upside-down smiley face, “Just got the most beautiful flowers!”

As a lifestyle expert, I’m hearing from sources close to Miranda that while she’s accepted the apology, she’s still really hurt and disappointed that someone she considered a close friend would betray her trust. It’s a tough situation, and it shows how deeply this has affected her.

Chase declined to comment when contacted by TopMob News. TopMob News has also requested a statement from Jessi’s representative, but they haven’t responded yet.
