Assassin’s Creed Shadows Reaches 5 Million Players

In the series of Assassin’s Creed, Ubisoft’s newest open-world action RPG titled “Shadows”, has now surpassed 5 million players. Previously, it had crossed the threshold of 3 million players, approximately a week following its release.

The official Twitter account of the series announced this along with other significant data such as two billion stealth kills, a billion kilometers traveled, and 38 million virtual pets. It hints at “updates” coming this week regarding Naoe and Yasuke’s journey, possibly revealing upcoming content. As per the current plan, new features like New Game Plus, additional storylines, Codex updates, and more are being developed.

In addition, there’s the “Claws of Awaji,” an extension of the story set in a fresh location, introducing a novel weapon type called the Bo for Naoe. The expanded gameplay exceeds ten hours. Expected to release this year, it is rumored to launch around September.

The action-adventure game, “Assassin’s Creed Shadows,” is now playable on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and personal computers.
