EastEnders blackmail intensifies as Vicki Fowler accuses innocent locals in early BBC iPlayer release

In EastEnders, Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) and Zack Hudson (James Farrar) are facing increased pressure from their blackmailer, who has now started making false accusations – even turning on their own family.

It’s been a crazy week! After Vicki’s hen party, things got really heated with him. Kim actually hired him as a stripper, which threw Vicki for a loop at first, but honestly, the connection between them was undeniable. They ended up sharing this really intense kiss, and it was clear there was something special there.

Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) saw the connection between them and, knowing about the affair, deliberately set off the fire alarm at Harry’s Barn to interrupt things. But despite her efforts, they ended up kissing passionately outside the bar.

Unbeknownst to them, someone had been secretly watching and taken a photo. This person then texted Vicki, threatening to send the photo to her fiancé, Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw), unless she paid up.

Vicki was exhausted from lack of sleep and immediately went to the Queen Vic kitchen to find out Zack’s plan. She realized he wasn’t worried about the blackmail, likely because he didn’t have as much to lose as she did.

Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) arrived and mentioned she’d seen some footage of them together. It was revealed she’d actually seen the video of him stripping, but Vicki immediately suspected Zoe was the one blackmailing him.

Desperate for answers, Vicki confessed everything to her brother Mark (Stephen Aaron-Sipple). He then used software to trace the message’s origin, which led them to Lauren Beale’s (Jacqueline Jossa) home. They immediately rushed to the car lot to confront her.

Lauren didn’t seem to notice anything was wrong, so Vicki had to pretend to be concerned and ask if Lauren hadn’t come to her bachelorette party because of a problem between them.

Completely defeated, she and Zack went to the Square to figure out their next steps. Meanwhile, Ian Beale, after watching the video of him undressing, remarked on how intimate they appeared to be.

Vicki immediately suspected he was behind the blackmail, though she was wrong. However, she did reveal during their talk that she had been unfaithful.

Right as Kathy was encouraging her to be honest with Ross, she received another text message – this one threatening to reveal their secret unless £20,000 was paid.
