Silver Lining Games and Square Glade Games have pushed back the release of their open-world camper van adventure, Outbound, from April 23rd to May 14th. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Square Glade Games announced that they are postponing the release of Outbound to May 14. They discovered a problem late in development that could affect players’ experience, and didn’t have enough time to fix it and still release the game on all platforms as planned. The team worked hard to stay on schedule, and while they understand players will be disappointed, they believe this delay will ultimately deliver a smoother, more enjoyable game.
We’re sorry for the delay! The demo for the game, which is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, will now be available for longer – until May 12th.
