Meghan Trainor is takin’ it back to some recent drama.
Following Ashley Tisdale’s revelation three months ago that she left a celebrity mom group because it was unhealthy, the singer behind “All About That Bass” recently discussed a private conversation she had with members after sharing her reasons for leaving.
Meghan, who is friends with Ashley, Hilary Duff, and Mandy Moore – their friendships have been featured online – told Us Weekly on April 15th that Ashley had texted her an apology, saying Meghan’s name had been brought up in something negative.
She reassured herself, saying, “It’s okay. The world is a bit chaotic, and people always need something to gossip about.”
Meghan expressed sympathy for Ashley after reading her essay in The Cut. In it, Ashley, known from High School Musical, described leaving the group because she was consistently excluded from social events.
She was upset that things got so difficult, and it seemed like a lot of it was just misunderstandings. She doesn’t know exactly what happened, but she hopes everyone involved is doing well now, she shared. She’s a mom to Riley, 5, and Barry, 2, with her husband, Daryl Sabara.
Meghan wasn’t part of the conflict. She’d already clarified things in a TikTok video posted on January 12th, where she lip-synced a line from Stranger Things – Holly Wheeler saying, “Please, you have to believe me.”
She captioned the video, ‘Me, still trying to explain to everyone that I have nothing to do with the drama in the mom group.’
She captioned the post, “I swear I’m innocent.”
Ashley, who has two daughters – 5-year-old Jupiter and 19-month-old Emerson – with her husband Christopher French, recently wrote about some people in an essay. Although she hasn’t revealed their identities publicly, she doesn’t think they are intentionally malicious.

I initially tried to brush off feeling left out,” the founder of Frenshe wrote. “I knew people had the right to hang out without me, and I figured there might be valid reasons why I wasn’t included. Everyone’s lives are busy and chaotic, so I kept telling myself I was overreacting and it wasn’t something to worry about.
She began to feel like she was being deliberately excluded, so she decided to withdraw from the group, letting them know via text, “I’m done with this.”
Ashley felt the way the group interacted became unhealthy and negative, at least for her personally.

In January 2024, Bobby addressed speculation about a disagreement with Tan, two months after announcing he was leaving Queer Eye after eight seasons. (Bobby is pictured second from left.)
He assured Vanity Fair that he and Tan are doing okay. He explained they went through a personal issue, but it’s separate from their work on the show and wasn’t related to romance. He emphasized it was a private matter they were handling between themselves.
In March 2024, Tan addressed claims that he tried to get his friend Jeremiah Brent to replace Bobby on the show Queer Eye.
Okay, so there’s been a lot of talk about a recent casting decision, and I wanted to clear things up. Netflix and the production team really went through a thorough process – they looked at everyone. I didn’t recommend my friend for the role, they actually landed it purely on their own merit – they were simply the best fit! And to be clear, I didn’t play any part in someone else being passed over to make room for them. It was a straight-up, talent-based decision.

During a September 2023 game of “Stir the Pot” with her daughter, Kelly Osbourne, on TopMob News, Sharon Osbourne revealed that actor Danny Masterson, known from “That ’70s Show,” was the rudest celebrity she’d ever encountered. She described him as a very rude and unpleasant person.
He did not respond to her remarks publicly.
Five years ago, Sharon shared with Larry King that Ashton seemed annoyed when he was a guest on The Talk in 2014, after she mispronounced his name.
She remembered him asking, “Who are you and what have you accomplished in this field?” Her response was blunt: “Listen, don’t mess with me, because I’ll completely destroy you.” She added, “You have no idea who you’re talking to.”

In August 2022, Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris publicly disagreed with Brittany Aldean, wife of country singer Jason Aldean, after Brittany posted a video on Instagram. In the video, posted on August 23rd, Brittany thanked her parents for not allowing her to transition genders during a phase where she preferred traditionally masculine interests, stating she enjoyed her current feminine lifestyle.

In a 2022 TikTok trend, JoJo Siwa called Candace Cameron Bure the “rudest” celebrity she’d ever met. She explained that this was because Bure once declined to pose for a photo with her on a red carpet, which Siwa felt was hurtful. Soon after, Bure publicly apologized, saying she regretted not taking a picture with Siwa when she was eleven years old and that she felt bad about it.
Candace and the other person resolved their differences. However, when asked months later if her network, Great American Family, would ever feature same-sex couples as the main characters in its holiday films, she stated it wouldn’t, explaining that the network would continue to focus on traditional marriage.
JoJo, who publicly shared they are part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, responded to the actress’ comment on Instagram, calling it “rude and hurtful to the entire LGBTQ+ community.”

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed that Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover art for Courtney’s band, Hole, in a promotional photo without giving proper credit. Olivia responded with a supportive message, saying, “Love u and live through this sooooo much.” Courtney then playfully replied, acknowledging Olivia’s message and offering to share details about her favorite florist in London if Olivia reached out directly.

While on Watch What Happens Live, the actor from Happy Days explained why he and the star of Forrest Gump didn’t get along while filming their 1989 movie, Turner & Hooch.
I directed the movie for thirteen days, and then Jeff Katzenberg, the producer, called me into his office and told me to go home – that I had everything I needed.
Winkler and Hanks’ dog seemed to hit it off. “I really loved that dog,” Winkler said, “We got along great.”
He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick.

“You know what you did!”
Those who watched The Hills likely recall Lauren’s famous line from the start of season three. The drama between her and Heidi began when Heidi started dating Spencer Pratt. It escalated when Lauren claimed Heidi and Spencer spread a false rumor that she had made a sex tape with her then-boyfriend, Jason Wahler.

Tyrese and Dwayne Johnson had a public falling out in 2017, starting with an Instagram post by Tyrese after the release date for Fast & Furious 9 was delayed until April 2020. On the same day, a spin-off movie featuring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham was announced, slated for release in 2019. Shortly after, Tyrese said he would leave Fast 9 if Dwayne Johnson was still involved.
Tyrese recently discussed the long-standing conflict with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, telling Van Lathan on The Red Pill podcast that he still hasn’t spoken to Johnson directly, though they plan to talk. He mentioned he did communicate with one of Johnson’s producing partners, but not with Johnson himself.
Tyrese admitted he often ended up speaking for others involved with the franchise, but he regrets being the only one to publicly share those opinions. He says it was unprofessional and a mistake on his part.

No more bad blood here.
Taylor Swift and Katy Perry had a long-running public disagreement, rumored to be the inspiration behind Swift’s song “Bad Blood.” The conflict, which supposedly began over a disagreement about a dancer and competition between their concert tours, ended when Perry sent Swift an actual olive branch as a peace offering before Swift’s Reputation Tour began.
Taylor shared in an Instagram video that she found a real olive branch in her dressing room, saying it meant a lot to her.
Taylor captioned the video, “Thank you Katy.”

For years, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, stars of Sex and the City, dismissed rumors of a disagreement. However, those rumors resurfaced when Kim chose not to participate in a third movie and made some pointed comments about her co-star.
During a September 2017 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked Sarah Jessica Parker how she felt about Kim Cattrall publicly stating to Piers Morgan that they had only ever been coworkers, not friends.
She was deeply upset, saying she felt heartbroken about something. They had discussed it the previous week, and she explained that she didn’t remember things happening the way the other person described. It really bothered her because her recollection of events was different.
It’s upsetting, but I believe what truly connects us is the unique experience we all shared. It started as a professional collaboration, but over many years, it became something deeply personal. I hope that shared history and the special connection people felt with it will outweigh any recent disagreements. It was a privilege to be a part of something so meaningful for so long.
And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.

Elton John and Madonna have been publicly disagreeing since 2004. The conflict began when Elton, while accepting an award at the Q Awards that year, criticized Madonna’s live performances. He famously said, “Madonna, best live act? That’s ridiculous! Lip-syncing isn’t live!” He added that he believed performers who lip-sync during paid concerts should face serious consequences.

The conflict really escalated when Cardi B noticed Nicki Minaj had supposedly reacted to a tweet criticizing Cardi’s parenting, though Nicki claims she didn’t actually engage with it.
Cardi B explained that she chose to be with her daughter instead of pursuing a very profitable Bruno Mars tour. She emphasized how much she loves her daughter and how dedicated she is as a mother, and expressed frustration that someone without children would criticize her choices. She also pointed out that opportunities to meet other artists are rare, and she wasn’t going to pass up a chance encounter like that.
