A game that’s only available on Nintendo Switch and Steam is being removed from both digital stores today. This means you won’t be able to buy it anymore, as it was never sold in physical stores. If you already own the game, you’ll still be able to play it fully – there are no online features to worry about being shut down. Right now, you can purchase it on the Nintendo eShop for $10 before it’s gone.
The Nintendo Switch game Super Nanaru, a 2D platformer released in 2022 by Tentacle Soft and published by CFK Co., has been removed from sale. The companies state this happened because the original copyright owner requested it. This suggests they had no control over the decision.
Statement From Publisher
An official announcement stated, “We appreciate all your support for Super Nanaru. Unfortunately, at the request of the copyright owner, Super Nanaru will no longer be available for purchase on Nintendo eShop and Steam after April 16, 2026. Thank you for your understanding, and we’ll continue working to deliver great experiences.”

Although Super Nanaru wasn’t a widely known game, players generally liked it. You won’t find user reviews on the Nintendo eShop, as that platform doesn’t allow them. However, on Steam, the game has a 76% positive rating from user reviews. Because it wasn’t a mainstream title, Super Nanaru doesn’t have a score on Metacritic, which is a site that collects reviews from professional critics.
If you’re just starting this Nintendo Switch game, you can expect a few hours of gameplay from the side-scrolling levels. Keep in mind that the game can be challenging, and how long it takes you to finish will depend on your skill with this type of game, according to some players.
