Kyle Busch’s Wife Samantha Busch Details Struggles After Miscarriage

Samantha Busch is sharing insight into a painful period in her and husband Kyle Busch’s marriage.

Shortly following the birth of their son Brexton, conceived through IVF in 2015, they started working towards growing their family even more. Yet, the journey proved challenging for this couple, eventually causing strain on their marriage.

Samantha, age 39, revealed during the July 22nd edition of the Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley podcast, “We experienced an unexpected loss very early on. It was incredibly difficult and something that still causes pain to this day.

After experiencing a miscarriage, there’s always a part of your heart that is missing,” the entrepreneur explained about her marriage to Kyle in 2010. “We faced many marital difficulties because we hadn’t known how to handle something so profound. We didn’t grasp each other’s ways of grieving and we didn’t understand what kind of support we needed during that challenging period.

After the miscarriage, Samantha carried a heavy burden of guilt, but her spouse managed to find closure more easily – a fact that left her feeling annoyed.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but echo his words, “I didn’t mean to come off as distant, but it’s over. There’s no way to turn back the clock on this situation. We just need to press on.” But oh, how I wished he’d remain in the thick of things with me. He kept marching forward, while I was stuck, and that disconnect bred a deep-seated resentment between us. It took us some time to grasp each other’s viewpoints and origins, but eventually, we did.

In the end, they decided to consult with experts to overcome their challenging phase and prepare for another attempt at their family-building process.

Samantha explained, “We put a lot of effort into it. We attended couples therapy sessions and other related activities.

Approximately seven years have passed since several unsuccessful surrogacy trials and another heartbreaking miscarriage. At last, when they were both 40, Samantha and Kyle became parents to their precious daughter named Lennix, who is currently 3 years old, through the help of a surrogate.

In a challenging mental and physical state, Kyle and I had reached a point where we felt, “This is it.” However, fortunately for us, blessings came our way. Our daughter, Lennix, entered our lives on May 10, 2022, having been delivered through a surrogate carrier.

These days, parents are not only relishing their lives, but also commemorating significant stages in their relationships.

Recently, Samantha took part in the popular social media trend titled “How long have you two been together?”, showcasing numerous photos of herself with Kyle, starting from the beginning of their relationship in 2008 up until the current time.

She wrote on her July 19 Instagram post, “Over 17 years and who’s keeping track?”, expressing her love for him and the life they’ve created together: “@rowdybusch”.

Jacob Mayo, a cast member of “Duck Dynasty”, together with his wife, openly discuss the significance of sharing their fertility challenges on their family’s newly launched reality show.

In the show, we’ve chosen to discuss infertility – a personal struggle that we haven’t openly talked about much in public before. Bella made this statement during an interview with Jacob for Us Weekly, published on May 21st. As you scroll through someone’s social media feed, it’s hard to grasp the challenges they might be facing.

In their perspective, it didn’t just seem fitting but also provided an opportunity for the duo to genuinely express themselves, being true to who they are in this fresh series.

Two years prior to the joyous announcement that Christian McCaffrey and the ex-Miss Universe were going to become parents for the first time, she openly discussed her endometriosis diagnosis and its potential impact on my beloved star’s future fertility.

Culpo has expressed that she desires to have children but wants to ensure it’s possible, as she mentioned during an episode of The Culpo Sisters in November 2022. She had been diagnosed with the disease in 2020 and underwent surgery for treatment. The prospect of having babies might prove challenging for her due to her medical history.

She explained that Endometriosis may influence your ability to conceive in various manners. For instance, endometrial growth might occur close to or directly on your ovaries, impacting the quality of your eggs and potentially scarring your fallopian tubes.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d like to share a heartfelt revelation from a cherished member of Bachelor Nation. She has bravely opened up about the challenges she and her husband, Dean Bell, have encountered in their journey to start a family – a struggle that has persisted for nearly two years since their nuptials.

In her YouTube video posted on March 19th, Caelynn stated that things are easier now because she’s not applying as much stress and self-imposed demands on herself compared to the initial months of attempting.

As I navigate this emotionally testing journey alongside my spouse, I’m determinedly keeping an optimistic disposition, working together to unravel the mysteries of our health.

The co-host of Dancing With the Stars has been transparent about her battles with endometriosis, a condition affecting women’s reproductive systems, and has been making efforts to safeguard her fertility until she feels it’s the right moment to attempt having a child. In June 2025, she revealed that she underwent egg freezing for the third occasion.

Ever since she gave birth to her son Sonny with husband Tim Rosenman in 2017, this former Hills alum has openly discussed the highs and lows of her fertility experience, sharing details about her own two pregnancy losses and the two miscarriages experienced by her surrogate.

In July 2024, Whitney confirmed she’s preparing for a second egg retrieval.

In July 2024, Whitney revealed that she was getting ready for another egg collection, as they had previously undergone surrogacy twice, which resulted in the surrogate experiencing two miscarriages and Whitney suffering from two pregnancy losses.

She expressed that she feels significantly improved compared to her previous visit, as she now has a better understanding of what to anticipate. Additionally, she has an abundance of confidence and belief in her physician.

Regardless of any developments in their process to expand their family with another child, Whitney has consistently expressed that their family of three is complete and nothing is missing.

In July 2024, while we’re starting our journey towards another child, she expressed her feelings in a birthday tribute to Sonny who turned 7. She emphasized that they feel complete, regardless of the outcome. To her, Sonny is a blessing and she enjoys watching him grow. They are incredibly thankful for his laid-back nature.

The actress from “Everything Everywhere All At Once” shared some insights on the difficulties she faced while attempting to have children with her initial spouse, Dickson Poon, before marrying Jean Todt in 2023 after being together for 19 years.

During her interview on a podcast in November 2024, Michelle expressed that she had long desired to become a parent. She sought fertility treatments to assist with this goal. She found the most difficult period was each month when she felt as if she were failing.

Instead, she said, “Eventually, you realize it’s not your fault for things beyond your control. Your body has its own mechanisms that may not work as expected. Acceptance is key, and then it’s time to release and proceed forward.

The hip-hop artist, who has a son named Wilde with her partner Maximillion Cooper, previously spoke openly about a devastating miscarriage during her stint on the TV show ‘Eve’, which was caused by an ectopic pregnancy.

In her memoir Who’s That Girl?, Eve wrote that it was in 2006 when she discovered she was pregnant. She needed an emergency operation and took a break from filming for two weeks as a result. It’s unclear why she deceived everyone on set by claiming her appendix had burst, perhaps because she was deceiving herself too.

She went on to say, “If the thought of losing my baby crossed my mind, I wasn’t sure if two weeks would be sufficient emotional recovery time. In reality, that healing period turned out to be barely enough for my physical recovery before I had to return to work. After the surgery, I had lost a significant amount of weight and my body felt very weak.

In a straightforward and conversational manner: The actress from “Selling Sunset,” who gave birth to her son Austin when she was just 15 years old, has openly discussed her and her husband Romain Bonnet’s experiences with fertility issues.

As an over-the-moon fan, I can’t predict what lies ahead, but I’m just going along with whatever life throws at me. Currently, I’m swamped with the book and the season, so if I want any positive outcomes, I need to stay calm and avoid rushing around.” (Sept 2024)

Beyond having a surgical procedure to correct a septate uterus (where the uterus has a dividing membrane), Mary stated that she and Romain aren’t in a hurry to make any decisions, and they find joy in their pet dog.

The real estate agent mentioned that they have a pet cat named Thor, who Romaine adores deeply. If the deal falls through, Romaine says he will manage fine because he has his beloved feline companion. Essentially, they will make it work no matter what, as they believe everything that is meant to happen will ultimately occur.

The NFL sports commentator and her spouse, Jarret Stoll, who became parents to a son named Mack in July 2023, have faced their share of challenges and triumphs during their parenthood journey—including overcoming Erin’s cervical cancer diagnosis in 2017.

However, prior to battling cancer, she had her eggs preserved. Later, she opted for In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) as a means to conceive a child, and chose to publicly share this personal journey.

In her 2021 essay, she expressed that she had grown weary of holding back about her difficulties. She described the journey as incredibly tough and painful. It seemed as though she had gone numb for most of it, feeling more like a machine than a human being, enduring an unjust roller coaster ride where bad news was often the result.

She stated, ‘I am an open communicator, and I can express sincerely about the difficulties we faced, understanding that many couples and families dealing with infertility issues share similar feelings.’
