Dylan Sprouse Holds Attempted Home Burglar at Gunpoint

Dylan Sprouse and his wife Barbara Palvin experienced a scary incident at their home.

According to law enforcement sources speaking with TMZ, the 33-year-old actor encountered someone allegedly trespassing on their property in the Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles on April 17th.

According to law enforcement sources, Barbara called 911 around 12:30 a.m. to report a possible break-in at their home. While they waited for the police, Dylan allegedly confronted the suspected intruder, holding him at gunpoint and eventually tackling him to the ground, according to TMZ.

According to TMZ, the former star of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody held the man until police arrived, then secured the man’s gun by putting it back in its holster and behind the front gate.

The LAPD has not revealed details about the suspect’s identity. 

Neither Dylan nor Barbara—who tied the knot in 2023—have publicly commented on the situation. 

TopMob News has contacted both the LAPD and representatives for the couple, but has not yet received a response.

Dylan has stated he’ll defend his wife, but he’s also consistently admired Barbara’s strength and courage. He famously called her a “beast” after she confidently walked in the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show only four weeks after fracturing her foot.

The actress from After We Collided told TopMob News at an event in October 2025 that someone she knows is remarkably calm about everything. She explained, ‘She just seems to accept whatever happens, like, ‘Oh well, today is the day.’ I was surprised, though, because she’d been preparing for months, and I wondered if she ever got nervous before going on stage.’

 

Barbara is also very impressed with Dylan, who many know from the Disney Channel show Suite Life of Zack & Cody (where he starred with his twin brother, Cole Sprouse). She says they connected quickly when they started dating.

Growing up, I struggled with texting and flirting because English isn’t my first language,” the Hungarian-born individual explained to W Magazine in 2019. “But with Dylan, it felt effortless. We connected over shared interests, and our senses of humor just clicked.”
