Many Xbox players have reported receiving a $5 credit to their Microsoft Store account this week, delivered through the Xbox app or messages. Like similar promotions, this appears to be a random and limited-time offer. Microsoft hasn’t officially announced the giveaway, so details such as which countries are eligible remain unknown.

As a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, I know it’s not cheap – it’s $30 a month! So when I saw a post on the Xbox Game Pass subreddit about someone getting a notification for a free three-month subscription, I was really interested. Apparently, they clicked the notification and there it was – a totally free three months of Game Pass Ultimate. It’s worth about $90, which is a pretty sweet deal!
