Fans were really excited for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, especially after waiting 21 years for a sequel to the original Bloodlines. Sadly, the game didn’t quite live up to expectations for many players. If you’re a fan of the Vampire: The Masquerade world, you can still enjoy the tabletop role-playing game, which continues to get new content. And there’s actually another Vampire: The Masquerade video game already available – it was released on April 17th, but it may have flown under the radar.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Clans of London is a new, free-to-play mobile game set in the World of Darkness. It launched worldwide on April 17th for both Android and iOS. While it might not get as much attention as bigger RPGs like Bloodlines 2, it’s definitely worth a look if you enjoy vampire themes and strategic card games. Early reviews are positive, and since it’s free to play, you can try it out with no risk!
Vampire: The Masquerade – Clans of London Puts a Card Game Twist on the TTRPG

In case you haven’t heard, here’s what our new free mobile game is all about. Clans of London is a dark fantasy card game based in the Vampire: The Masquerade world. You’ll collect beautifully illustrated cards and battle other players in quick, 5-minute strategy matches where the goal is to control the ‘hill.’ The game is set in a modern-day London filled with supernatural conflict and secrets, and it’s free to play, with optional purchases available if you want them.
Clans of London has been in limited playtesting since late last year, around the time Bloodlines 2 was released. Because of this timing, it hasn’t gotten much attention, but players who’ve tried the beta version have been very impressed. It currently has a 4.7-star rating on the Apple App Store and a 4.4-star rating on Google Play. Players have been pleasantly surprised by how well the game captures the feel of the original tabletop role-playing game while offering compelling stories and interesting trading card gameplay. If you enjoy Vampire: The Masquerade and trading card games, it’s definitely worth a look.

Okay, so Clans of London is officially out on iOS and Android – the full 1.0 version! They didn’t just release it, though, they dropped a huge update with tons of new story stuff, a whole new Clan to play with, and a bunch of improvements and bug fixes. Honestly, it was already a really good card game with a cool Vampire: The Masquerade vibe, but this update seems to make it even better. If you’re a fan of the Vampire universe, or just looking for a fun vampire game on your phone, this might be exactly what you’ve been waiting for, especially after Bloodlines 2 didn’t quite hit the mark.
Unlike action RPGs like Bloodlines or traditional tabletop role-playing games like the original Vampire: The Masquerade, Clans of London offers a fresh style of gameplay. It’s now available on iOS and Android worldwide, so you can start playing immediately – no need to wait 21 years! It looks like a great addition to the Vampire: The Masquerade universe.
I tried out the Clans of London beta, and I’m definitely planning on jumping into the full game when it launches! What about you guys? Let me know what you think in the ComicBook Forum – let’s chat about it!
