Charles Dance, known for his role in Game of Thrones, is reportedly in discussions to join the cast of the upcoming Batman sequel. This would add another major star to the film’s already impressive lineup.
Deadline reports that the experienced actor is being considered to play Christopher Dent, the father of the famous comic book villain Harvey Dent, also known as Two-Face.
Oscar nominee Sebastian Stan will portray Harvey Dent, and Scarlett Johansson will play his wife, promising a high-profile take on the iconic Dent family.

Robert Pattinson will once again play Batman, and several other actors are expected to return for the sequel, The Batman Part II. These include Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Jim Gordon.
Meanwhile, Zoë Kravitz will not be reprising her role as Selina Kyle/Catwoman from the last outing.
Several well-known actors, including Robert De Niro, Brad Pitt, Stellan Skarsgård, Viggo Mortensen, and Daniel Craig, have been mentioned as possible choices for the role of Christopher. However, it’s unconfirmed whether any of them were seriously considered.
TopMob has reached out to Charles Dance’s reps and DC Studios for comment.
The Batman Part II is the sequel to Matt Reeves’s popular 2022 film, and fans have been eagerly awaiting news about it for over four years.
There were concerns the project might be cancelled due to shifts happening at Warner Bros. and DC, especially since DC recently revamped its storylines with the new Superman movie last summer.
Filming is starting soon, and the movie is currently scheduled to come out in October 2027. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait much longer to learn more about what Reeves has planned.
Robert Pattinson’s Batman is likely to continue being dark and intense, and we might see Barry Keoghan return as the Joker, after a quick glimpse of him at the end of the previous movie.
The Batman Part II is coming to cinemas in October 2027.
