A recent rumor claims to reveal a major character death in the upcoming Marvel movie, Avengers: Doomsday. With the film’s release date approaching, speculation about the plot is increasing, especially considering the high stakes involved with the villain, Doctor Doom. The movie was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, who also produced it through their company, AGBO, in partnership with Marvel Studios.
‘Everyone’ rumored to die in Avengers: Doomsday
A recent rumor claims that everyone will die in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday movie. The Beyond Reporter shared on X (formerly Twitter) that one of the Avengers will be killed off for good, but they didn’t say who it would be.
Responding to a post on X (formerly Twitter), insider MyTimetoShineHello claimed that everyone will die in the movie. “Everyone,” they wrote.
Since this information isn’t from an official source, it’s best not to believe it completely. Fans will have to wait until the game, ‘Doomsday,’ is released to see if the rumor turns out to be true.
Although it’s just a rumor right now, it wouldn’t be shocking if it’s true. Marvel has done something similar before with the Avengers movies. They famously killed off many heroes in Infinity War, only to bring them back in Endgame.
Get ready for more Avengers action! Disney announced at CinemaCon that they’re re-releasing Endgame with new footage on September 25th. And mark your calendars for Avengers: Doomsday, which hits theaters on December 18, 2026.
Joe Russo recently explained to Deadline at the Sands Film Festival that they plan to re-release Avengers: Endgame. This new version will include additional footage connected to the Doomsday story arc.
The director explained that the re-release serves as a special link between the films Endgame and Doomsday. He also described it as an important story that provides context for what happens in Doomsday.
The movie will also have a scene after the credits, hinting at what’s coming next in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
