Coronation Street villain Theo Silverton threatens to kill again after Billy in early ITVX release

Theo Silverton (played by James Cartwright) has made another threat to kill someone on Coronation Street, this time following the death of vicar Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank).

Earlier this year, Theo desperately tried to cover up his abusive behavior towards Todd Grimshaw. He sabotaged Billy by climbing into a burning minibus and secretly re-buckling his seatbelt, trapping him inside.

After it was over, he felt deeply guilty and admitted to many wrongdoings while standing at the coffin. Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) happened to hear him, which led to a heated argument at the funeral.

Theo threatened to harm Billy if he revealed any secrets, even going as far as saying he’d ‘put him in a coffin.’ Recently, however, Carl appears willing to risk Theo’s retaliation. He approached Billy’s daughter, Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby), while she was grieving and offered to ensure Theo faced consequences if she paid him £10,000.

Summer was initially hesitant, though after realising how hurt Todd was, she agreed to his deal.

Things didn’t go as expected, and Theo quickly realized Carl was trying to provoke him into a fight. The plan was for the fight to happen in public, or be caught on camera, so Theo could be arrested for attacking someone and finally face a long prison sentence.

After telling Summer the upsetting news, Carl walked away, but quickly ran into Summer’s stepfather, Ronnie Bailey, who immediately punched him and demanded he leave and stop bothering their mother, Debbie.

Today on the show, Abi Webster learned that Carl was in the hospital after being attacked. She shared the news with Summer and suspects Theo may be to blame.

No sooner had Abi left than Theo came in and locked the door. He then put up the ‘Closed’ sign and slowly moved nearer.

She told him she wasn’t afraid and even pointed out the security camera to prove it. But Theo didn’t seem bothered at all, simply waving at the camera and stating he had nothing to fear.

He moved closer and closer, invading her personal space while recounting the details of Billy’s death. He cruelly imitated Billy’s last moments, reciting the Lord’s Prayer as if mocking the fact that Billy had pleaded for help.

Theo claimed Todd was his and was set on fixing their relationship. He threatened to kill anyone who tried to stop him.

Summer was petrified as he marched out of the shop, wondering what his next move could be.

Could she be the one to try and seek revenge during Corrie’s forthcoming ‘Murder Week’?
