
Mindy Cohn is facing another health journey.
The actress best known for her role in The Facts of Life recently gave fans an update on her health, nine years after her cancer went into remission following a five-year fight.
I’ve been away from social media for a bit, and I wanted to share why. I was battling cancer, but thankfully, I’m on the mend! I seriously couldn’t have done it without the incredible doctors, nurses, and staff at Providence Saint John’s – they were absolutely amazing throughout the whole process.
The 59-year-old expressed her gratitude to her nurses, surgeon, and family, calling her family “cherished” and thanking them for always being there to support her through everything.
Mindy finished her update on a hopeful note for the future as she recovers from treatment.
She shared that she’s recovering for a couple more weeks and then excited to start her next chapter. She ended with a defiant message of hope, declaring ‘Onwards! FK Cancer!’
“Love you, Mindy!” Jerry O’Connell commented. “Here whenevs you need us!”
Andy Cohen and Helen Hunt both sent messages of support, wishing the recipient love and positive energy.
Geena Davis also sent her best wishes, writing, “Mindy, sending you love and prayers for a speedy recovery!”
