Robert Pattinson Is Charlie Cox’s Choice for Gustave in Expedition 33 Movie

The popular game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is being adapted into a movie, and the person who voices the character Gustave already has an actor in mind for the role.

Charlie Cox, who voiced the character in the video game, believes Robert Pattinson is a good fit for the role in the upcoming film. However, Cox would still love to provide the character’s voice for the movie.

At this year’s BAFTA Games Awards, Troy Baker – when asked by GamesRadar if he’d ever return to play the character Gustave – said he would be very interested in doing so.

He says that even though his role started small, and has grown significantly, being a part of this has been a truly humbling and enjoyable experience.

I think Robert Pattinson would be perfect to play the character in a movie adaptation, and I could do the voice work. That way, the movie version would really capture the essence of Gustave from the game.

If Cox did indeed return as the voice of Gustave, he’d sound just like he does in the video game. However, he believes Robert Pattinson would be perfect to play the character in a live-action role, explaining, “I think Gustave really looks like Rob.”

To be fair, he does. When you see them side-by-side, Pattinson could definitely pull that off.

The movie is still very early in development, so we won’t hear about actors or other details for quite some time.
