David Tennant, known for his role in Good Omens, has given fans a heads-up about Crowley’s emotional state in the upcoming season – and it doesn’t sound good. The beloved demon is really struggling.
The last installment of the popular fantasy show will continue the story of Crowley, played by David Tennant, and Aziraphale, played by Michael Sheen, after they parted ways in the dramatic season 2 finale.
David Tennant hinted to SFX magazine that his character, Crowley, is at a very low point when the new story begins.
He’s completely alone, without a car or any hope. Now, he’s forced to sleep in an alleyway, though still near the bookshop, and keeps watch. He’s truly independent, owing loyalty to no one and nothing – not to any power or person. He’s really struggling right now.
Aziraphale is also facing difficulties, having recently become a Supreme Archangel in Heaven and now dealing with the challenge of the Second Coming.
The final chapter of Good Omens, shortened from a full season to a 90-minute special, will see Aziraphale and Crowley team up for one last world-saving adventure, and in the process, they’ll reconnect with each other.

Viewers are closely examining the first images and the new trailer for the latest episode, hoping to find hints about what’s going to happen and how the story will conclude for the angel and demon characters.
The episode, directed by Rachel Talalay, is coming out in mid-May, so we won’t have to wait much longer to find out what happens.
Following accusations of sexual assault – which he firmly rejects – Neil Gaiman, who co-wrote the series Good Omens, stepped away from the TV show. While he did contribute to the final episode’s writing, he wasn’t involved in the production itself, nor was his company, Blank Corporation.
Nine women have publicly accused the writer of misconduct, as reported in a January 2025 article by Vulture and a July 2024 podcast from Tortoise Media.
The accusations against Gaiman involved claims of sexual activity, including rough sex and BDSM, that occurred without consent. Gaiman has strongly denied these claims, stating he never engaged in any non-consensual or illegal behavior.
When I read these recent stories, some parts felt familiar, while others didn’t. It’s a mix of descriptions of things that actually occurred and things that clearly didn’t.
I’m not claiming to be perfect, but I can honestly say I’ve never been involved in any kind of sexual activity without enthusiastic consent. It’s something I believe in strongly, and it’s never even crossed my mind to do otherwise.
The third season of Good Omens will premiere on Prime Video on May 13, 2026. You can try Amazon Prime Video free for 30 days.
