The forthcoming brawler game, Marvel Cosmic Invasion, developed by Tribute Games and published by Dotemu, has been an impressive prospect since its initial teaser. The most recent sneak peek unveils two fresh characters who deviate from the conventional choices in the Avengers roster.
Here’s the new trailer, announcing Silver Surfer and Beta Ray Bill are joining the playable roster:
The Silver Surfer is a widely beloved character from Marvel comics, initially portrayed as an adversary to the Fantastic Four. However, he has also been shown in various stories as a heroic figure.

In simpler terms, Beta Ray Bill is less well-known compared to other characters, but he’s had appearances in Thor comics. He’s sometimes a foe and at other times a friend to Thor, the character who uses a magical hammer.
Here’s the rest of the playable roster so far:
- Captain America
- Nova
- Phyla-Vell
- Rocket Raccoon
- She-Hulk
- Spider-Man
- Storm
- Venom
- Wolverine
At the initial release, the game will showcase 15 characters who can be played. However, this implies that we’re yet to unveil 4 additional characters.
The lineup is intriguing; it features familiar faces such as Spiderman and Wolverine, yet it also blends in less popular characters. This results in a diverse and invigorating collection.
Later in 2021, Marvel’s Cosmic Invasion will be available on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. No specific release date has been set yet. Are you looking forward to it? What are your thoughts on the newly revealed characters? Share your opinions in the comments below!
