Kyle Richards is keeping her diamonds where they belong.
In a preview of the second part of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 reunion, the reality star revealed the reason she hasn’t yet filed for divorce from her soon-to-be ex-husband, Mauricio Umansky, despite separating almost three years ago.
The preview starts with Dorit Kemsley asking Kyle, “Are you hoping he’ll return?”
The actress from Halloween Ends—who has four daughters, Farrah (37), Alexia (29), Sophia (26), and Portia (18), with the founder of The Agency—paused for a moment before sharing her honest thoughts.
She explained that she was content with their current arrangement, saying, “It’s just about not knowing what else we’d want. I like how things are.” They enjoy a comfortable routine: having dinner together, then each going to their own space, and starting the day with coffee and plans, often including a ski trip.
Actually, Kyle is hesitant to finalize the divorce because he doesn’t want to lose the close, quality time they used to spend as a family.
When Andy Cohen asked the 57-year-old about finalizing their divorce, she said that any change to their situation would be unsettling and frightening.
Since California divides assets equally in a divorce, Andy needed to know if Kyle would request half of The Agency.
To which Kyle quickly replied, “Well, it’s mine. Half of it’s mine.”
Bozoma Saint John visibly reacted to the surprising announcement, and Kyle’s sister, Kathy Hilton, wondered aloud if he understood the implications.
Despite their breakup, Kyle—who has been on Bravo’s ‘Housewives’ longer than anyone—pointed out to the group that she and her ex-husband had been together for over 30 years. She emphasized that they’d built a life together, starting when he had very little money when they got married.
Plus, Amanda Francis noted, “He also launched it on your show.”

Sutton Stracke didn’t think Kyle’s plans for a financial settlement were as simple as they seemed.
Sutton cautioned her colleague that wealth alters people, particularly men. She added that when men and money combine, it can create a dangerous combination.
Kyle remained firm on her position. She explained, “Regardless, I’m entitled to half. We never signed a prenuptial agreement and didn’t own much – just a small two-bedroom apartment and our three children.”
You can find out more about Kyle’s split when the second part of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion airs on Bravo, Thursday, April 30th, at 8 p.m.
