Fans are excited about the possibility of a remastered version of the classic Tales of Eternia! A listing with the European age rating board, PEGI, suggests that Bandai Namco is indeed working on a remastered release.
Here’s the thing: even though Eternia first came out on PlayStation 1 in 2000 and later on PSP, the game’s age rating information only mentions Nintendo Switch.
This would be an unusual move for Bandai Namco, considering their recent remasters – both Tales of Xillia Remastered and Tales of Berseria Remastered – were available on PlayStation 5 from the start.
This listing might be missing some information, or perhaps Eternia is initially available only on Switch for a limited time. We don’t know for certain yet, but we expect an official announcement will be made shortly.
Tales of Eternia is an older game, released before the series switched to 3D graphics. It features traditional 2D battles and uses sprite-based characters and environments.
We’ll obviously update this article if there are any additional leaks.
