Frontier recently launched a significant update for Planet Coaster 2, their theme park simulator, and it introduces a particularly cool addition.
A new, free update is available for PS5 that lets you create video game arcades inside your amusement parks.
Your arcade can hold up to 14 cabinets, and that includes classic, officially licensed Atari games like Pong, Centipede, and Asteroids.
When guests play games in your arcades, they’ll win tickets that they can trade for prizes, as long as you have a prize counter available.
As a big fan, I’m really excited about the latest update! They’ve added some cool features to the rollercoasters – now we can actually turn the lights on and off, which is awesome for theming! Plus, each ride now has slightly different track layouts, so things feel a little more unique and replayable.
Plus, you’ll find 21 different designs for smaller rides, with a variety of themes, giving you even more ways to personalize your parks.
This update also includes bug fixes and various improvements. You can find a complete list of changes in the detailed patch notes.
Are you planning to create arcades in your Planet Coaster 2 parks on PlayStation 5? Let us know what you think in the comments!
