The Boys Fans Are Convinced They Know Where Homelander’s Story is Going (& You’re Really Not Ready)

The show The Boys consistently pushes limits, but a new fan theory is particularly shocking, even for its standards. While a similar event happened in the comics, seeing it on screen would be far more impactful. Given the potential for Homelander to become truly unforgivable, the theory doesn’t seem far-fetched at all.

The internet is buzzing with wild theories, and while some online discussions have become shockingly unpleasant, a few of these ideas might actually have some weight. One popular theory suggests that Homelander will finally lose control and commit a horrific act: eating a baby. While Homelander has killed children before, this act would be unforgivable, and there’s no possible justification for it, not even considering his supposed god-like status.

What Could Possibly Make This Theory a Reality?

Several scenarios could happen, all involving infants who have already received a dose of the V1 substance. One viewer imagined a scene where Homelander discovers a facility full of these babies and kills them, fearing they threaten his uniqueness and power. This idea quickly escalated to Homelander consuming the V1-injected babies to gain their abilities.

Homelander is capable of many unforgivable acts, and he’s arguably already done several. In the final episodes, we can expect him to do even worse things, like brutally killing Terror to destroy Butcher’s remaining goodness, or using his lasers to kill a group of people – perhaps even targeting a church full of followers to eliminate a single dissenter. He might also kill Hughie or Ryan, or demonstrate his power by killing a large crowd. The show has hinted at this last possibility since season two.
