Ciara Miller is ready to put on her dancing shoes.
The Summer House star has a busy first Monday in May planned, as she’ll be a fashion expert on the Live From TopMob: Met Gala 2026 panel. But she’s also excited about her next project: joining the cast of season 35 of Dancing With the Stars.
She’s particularly focused on one dancer, Val Chmerkovskiy, and believes he has a strong chance of winning.
Ciara revealed to Erin Lim Rhodes during the Live From TopMob Stream at the Met Gala that she’s been actively trying to get Val invited. She’s been emailing and speaking to people, hoping her efforts will pay off and Val will be included. She’s waiting to see where the organizers decide to place her.
The show’s producers are deciding which celebrities will dance with whom, but Ciara would be wise to choose Val. He and his partner, Alix Earle, were runners-up in season 34, finishing just behind Robert Irwin and Witney Carson.
Ciara said she’s eager to learn the Cha Cha, and she’s particularly excited about the waltz.
She laughed, saying it was a strange thought, but she’s always loved the box step dance. She really wants to be on the show Bridgerton.
As I’ve been watching this 30-year-old’s career take off, it feels like it’s only a matter of time before they land a role on a hit Netflix series – I’m predicting big things for them!

And it was the dramatic corset in particular that caused her to swoon.
Ciara explained her fashion choices, saying she feels corsets have always been a part of style. ‘They existed long before electricity,’ she pointed out, ‘so why not include one in my outfit?’ She aimed for a bridal look, but ultimately wanted to create a striking silhouette – a cinched waist, emphasis on the upper body, and a statement hairstyle.

As a style expert, I can tell you Ciara completely understood the assignment for the 2026 Met Gala! Her outfit wasn’t just something to wear; it was a stunning work of art in itself. She really made a statement!
The reality star wore a white corset top and skirt for the event. She reportedly fell in love with the outfit as soon as she saw it.
I immediately loved it and sent a photo to my stylist. He said that was great, but we always look at several other choices too, because I can get really fixated on one thing.
Ciara’s stylist emphasized the value of seeing how an outfit looks in person, and soon Ciara’s ideas became a reality.
She remembered trying it on and immediately falling in love. She thought to herself, ‘I have to have this!’ and wanted it altered to fit her perfectly and be suitable for television.

Ciara explained her fashion choices, saying, “It feels like corsets have always existed! They were around long before electricity, so I wanted to include one in my outfit. I was going for a bridal vibe, but really I wanted a super-cinched waist, something to accentuate my upper body, and a statement hairpiece.”
