Zoë Kravitz looked as if she’d just stepped out of a painting at the 2026 Met Gala.
Her black lace Saint Laurent dress perfectly fit the night’s “Costume Art” and “Fashion Is Art” theme. However, less than two weeks after rumors began swirling about an engagement to Harry Styles, the actress subtly kept her left hand hidden in her pocket while posing for photos.
More attention to be paid to her dangling statement earrings, in that case!
Zoë returned to the Met Gala on May 4th in New York City, joining Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, and other hosts for the event. It was her first time at the Gala since 2021. (You can find photos of all the celebrities who attended here.)
The 37-year-old also stunned everyone five years ago wearing a sheer Saint Laurent gown completely covered in crystals.
Zoë’s sheer dress was very revealing, and she wore a sparkly thong underneath. She later admitted the outfit was quite bold.

Zoë described the outfit, designed by Saint Laurent’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello, as “pretty bold and very sparkly.” She and the team then discussed how to make the look even more impactful, as it was already quite daring.
To complete her stunning look, Zoë worked with jewelry designer Jessica McCormack.
Zoë shared, “I feel like I really come alive when I’m wearing her jewelry. Once I put a piece on, I don’t want to take it off! Jessica has a gift for creating jewelry that’s both special and versatile – it looks amazing with everything from a fancy gown to a simple T-shirt, which is exactly my style.”
For the High Fidelity star, a truly impressive red carpet outfit comes down to confidently wearing the clothes, rather than letting the clothes wear you.
I love seeing people express themselves through their own unique take on a theme,” she said. “It’s exciting when they feel confident in their personal style.
