Connor Storrie‘s goal at the 2026 Met Gala? Make us all blush.
The star of the show Heated Rivalry brightened up the Met Gala, the biggest fashion event of the year, on May 4th.
Connor fully embraced the night’s “Fashion is Art” theme, wearing black Saint Laurent pants and a striking black-and-white polka-dot turtleneck that flowed into a scarf. He finished the look with black dress shoes and a beautiful Tiffany & Co. brooch featuring a red stone and smaller gems on his neckline. The 26-year-old also showed off his curly golden hair. (Check out all the celebrity looks from the Met steps here.)
This is just the newest example of Connor gaining attention since the incredibly popular hockey romance, created by Jacob Tierney, took off. Along with his rising fame, the young actor has also developed a passion for fashion.
He told The Hollywood Reporter in January that he hadn’t really thought much about fashion before starting to work in the industry. He explained that it’s hard to understand why you appreciate quality items until you’re actually surrounded by them.
I never really cared about cars, but then I experienced driving a really high-end one and suddenly understood why people invest so much money in them. It’s similar with designer clothes – once you get to wear them, you realize why people spend money on quality if they can. It just feels good to have and experience nice things; they make you feel good and confident.
Connor credited his stylist, James Yardley, with a lot of help, but James also admired Connor’s strong sense of style.

James told Vanity Fair in January that this person is eager to learn and also has a good eye for fashion. He knows his own style, which has resulted in a collaborative process where they’ve created pieces with similar shapes but unique details.
As for what the pair is often going for?
The styling is understated, polished, and tailored, with attention to detail in things like accessories – watches and brooches, for example. As a stylist, the goal is always to create a strong, iconic look. This wasn’t a deliberate plan, but rather a natural result of the collaborative fitting process, where the character’s style evolved gradually with each outfit.
