Maya Hawke’s Met Gala 2026 Ball Gown Will Turn Your World Upside Down

Maya Hawke is swooping into Met Gala 2026 in style.

I was absolutely thrilled to see Sadie Sink at the Met Gala! She completely stunned as she arrived on May 4th. The theme this year was ‘Costume Art,’ and the dress code was all about blurring the lines between fashion and art – and Sadie nailed it. She wore this gorgeous black-and-white Dior ball gown, and the delicate floral details were just breathtaking. It was a perfect look for the night!

The 27-year-old has attended the Met Gala before – this marks her fourth time at the famous fashion event.

In 2018, the daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke first appeared on the red carpet, wearing a black Diane von Furstenberg dress with a distinctive, old-fashioned collar to the Met Gala, which that year celebrated fashion and Catholicism.

At the 2023 event, Maya honored the late Karl Lagerfeld by wearing a white Prada outfit. She then chose a structured pink dress with a caramel chiffon cape from Prada again two years later.

While Margot Robbie often looks glamorous for events like red carpets, she describes her everyday style as much more relaxed and casual.

She recently told Vogue Hong Kong about a woman she admired when she was 18. This woman always wore dark navy jeans and a striped Saint James shirt, and the younger woman found her incredibly beautiful. She was in her 70s, and it made her think, ‘When I’m older, I want to look like her.’ She’s been inspired by that woman’s style ever since.

So much so, she practically lives in jeans now.

Maya shared her enthusiasm for a particular pair of jeans and the belts she’s been pairing with them. She said she found them at a vintage store in Berlin while working on the set of The Hunger Games.

She added, “This pair of jeans is from Just Cavalli, and I’ve been obsessed with them.”
