“Why’s that?” you ask?

Cardi B revealed to reporters outside the Met Gala that she’s feeling unwell and has a fever, according to a video shared on X.

Even though she wasn’t feeling well, the 33-year-old wowed everyone at the 2026 Met Gala with her unique Marc Jacobs gown, designed around the theme “Fashion Is Art.” The striking black lace dress had large, dramatic shapes on the shoulders and a full, flowing skirt that hinted at the form of the human body in an artistic way.

As people discuss Cardi B’s latest Met Gala outfit, it’s clear her style was definitely not dull. It was anything but predictable!

Of course, Cardi is no stranger to making a splash on the Met Museum’s famed steps.

For the “Garden of Time” party in 2024, she arrived with a team of nine people to assist with the elaborate train of her Windowsen gown.

Last year, the artist known for “I Like It” made a striking appearance in a green velvet outfit designed by Burberry’s Daniel Lee for the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” event.
