Pam St Clement, best known for her role on EastEnders, is rumored to be returning to television with a guest spot on the second season of Rivals.
The actress who played popular character Pat Evans (previously Butcher) on the BBC soap for over 25 years is rumored to be making a brief appearance in the upcoming season of the Disney+ series.
According to The Sun, her character has a surprising encounter with Aidan Turner’s character, Declan O’Hara, while he’s unclothed. She hilariously misidentifies him as the beloved broadcaster Sir Terry Wogan.
I just read that Dominic Treadwell-Collins, who used to write and produce EastEnders, was the one who convinced St Clement to join the show! Apparently, he really got St Clement on board, which is awesome.
TopMob has contacted Disney for comment.

Pam St Clement portrayed the character of Pat Butcher on the soap opera EastEnders from 1986 to 2012. Pat quickly became popular with audiences because of her direct personality and bold style.
Despite first appearing to die in 2012, the character of St Clement reappeared in 2016 as a hallucination experienced by the dying Peggy Mitchell (played by Barbara Windsor). He then returned again in 2025 as part of a storyline focusing on Nigel Bates’s struggle with dementia.
The new season of Rivals, based on Jilly Cooper’s popular books, will start streaming on Disney+ later this month.
The show will once again feature familiar faces including Turner, David Tennant, Bella Maclean, Alex Hassell, Danny Dyer, Katherine Parkinson, Victoria Smurfit, Claire Rushbrook, and Oliver Chris.
The show will also feature returning cast members Lisa McGrillis, Emily Atack, Rufus Jones, Luke Pasqualino, Catriona Chandler, and Annabel Scholey.
The cast is expanding with several new faces, including Rupert Everett playing Malise Gordon, the new husband of Helen and a former coach of Rupert’s in show-jumping. Joining them are Maxim Ays, Holly Cattle, Oliver Dench, Amanda Lawrence, Bobby Lockwood, Eliot Salt, and Jonny Weldon.
