Saros Receives First Post-Launch Update, Here Are the Patch Notes

I’m so glad to see Housemarque is already supporting Saros! The game just came out last week and everyone’s been loving it – critics and players like me! Of course, with any new release, there have been a few little bugs and issues here and there. But the developers are already rolling out an update for PlayStation 5 to fix those annoyances and tweak the game balance a bit. It’s awesome to see them responding so quickly!

A new update for Saros is available now! Version 1.004.000 includes improvements to the game’s graphics, particularly in cutscenes. This update also balances weapons, artifacts, and character traits, and fixes bugs related to sound, the user interface, and some levels. While small, it’s an important update for a better gameplay experience.

We definitely plan to continue updating Saros in the future. Housemarque’s previous game, Returnal, received updates for a long time after release, and some of those updates even added to the game’s story and content. It’s not certain yet, but it’s likely that Housemarque is considering or working on new content for Saros as well.
