Beyoncé Had Emotional Moment With Daughter Blue Ivy Inside Met Gala

Beyoncé almost couldn’t handle this.

During the event, the 44-year-old became emotional while watching Stevie Nicks perform, and jokingly teased her 14-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. Hugh Jackman, who was sitting nearby with Sutton Foster, saw the playful moment between them.

He remembered Stevie Nicks performing at the event, and shared that Beyoncé and Rihanna were also in attendance. He added that he saw Beyoncé playfully tapping her daughter.

Hugh continued, watching the Met Gala co-chair, and said seeing her tears was a truly special moment. He felt it was something you couldn’t put a price on.

Beyoncé and Stevie Nicks have a long-standing connection. Back in 2001, Destiny’s Child—which included Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams—sampled Nicks’ song “Edge of Seventeen” in their hit “Bootylicious.” Nicks even appeared in the music video for the song alongside the group.
