Parenthood’s Sarah Ramos Pregnant with Her & Matt Spicer’s First Baby

Sarah Ramos is embarking on her own parenthood journey.

Actress Mae Whitman, known for her role in Parenthood, revealed she and her husband, Matt Spicer, are expecting their first child. She shared the news along with photos from her baby shower.

Okay, so you won’t BELIEVE this – I’m pregnant! I posted the news on Instagram and jokingly told everyone to pretend to be surprised if they already knew. Honestly, I’ve been so busy with adorable rescue puppies from The Labelle Foundation – they were the stars of my little announcement ‘party’ – that I don’t even have any good photos with the dad-to-be! It’s been a whirlwind, but a happy one!

The Chicago Med actress didn’t share any pictures with her husband, whom she married in 2020, but she did post several fun photos from her baby shower. These included a picture of her baby bump with a cream-colored cropped top, and a photo with one of the cute animals attending the celebration.

Okay, so it looks like Sarah and Matt are already thinking of sweet nicknames for their little one! I noticed Sarah posted a picture of a cake covered in rainbow sprinkles, and it said “Baby Spice” on it. It’s such a cute nod to Matt’s last name, and honestly, it’s just adorable to see them already embracing the joy of parenthood in such a playful way.

Sarah received lots of love not only at her baby shower, but also from her famous friends who commented on her post. Elle Fanning simply wrote “Congratulations!!!”, while her former co-star François Arnaud (from Midnight, Texas) shared a heart-eyes emoji.

Sarah’s Parenthood co-star, Mae Whitman, also congratulated her, playfully writing, “Weeeeee congrats budge!”

The exciting news comes more than five years after Sarah and Matt tied the knot.

The actress from American Dreams posted photos of their Las Vegas wedding on Instagram in December 2020.

The photos included a fun shot of Sarah being escorted down the aisle by an Elvis Presley impersonator, along with heartwarming pictures of her and her husband. One photo showed the happy couple smiling in front of a white and red convertible.
