Owners of the Nintendo Switch 2 will get to experience a fantastic action game that didn’t get enough attention when it was released in 2025. Last year was full of great action games, with titles like Ghost of Yotei, Ninja Gaiden 4, Hollow Knight: Silksong, and Monster Hunter Wilds all becoming popular with players and critics. Now, one of these excellent games, which flew somewhat under the radar, is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 in just a few months.
I’m so excited! Nacon just announced that Hell is Us is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2! It originally came out in September 2025, and it’s a really cool third-person action game with a big open world. The story drops you into this war-torn world full of supernatural stuff, and you’re left to explore. What’s really neat is that the game doesn’t hold your hand – there are no waypoints or traditional UI markers to guide you. You really have to discover things for yourself, which I think is awesome!
The game’s story suggests that war brings out the worst in people, essentially turning Earth into a hellish landscape. Set in a country torn apart by conflict, you’ll uncover hidden truths about your own history and face the consequences of a devastating event.
Until now, Hell is Us has only been released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Even on those platforms, it hasn’t gotten a huge amount of attention, though players who have tried it generally rate it highly. It currently has a “Very Positive” rating on Steam and averages 4.31/5 stars on the PlayStation Store. While it hasn’t been a massive commercial success, Hell is Us still seems like a game worth playing, and it’s one Switch 2 owners should definitely watch for.
Good news for Nintendo Switch fans! Hell is Us is officially coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 on September 24th. While the price hasn’t been announced yet, it’s likely to be around $49.99, similar to the price on other gaming systems.
