Adam Sandler will always keepCameron Boyceclose to his heart.

Six years following the passing of the Disney Channel actor, who shared screen time as the comedian’s onscreen son in the “Grown Ups” series, Sandler paid a touching tribute to Boyce in his newly released movie, “Happy Gilmore 2.”

It’s been noticed by observant viewers that in one scene of the movie released on July 25, Boyce can be spotted on a TV screen in the background while another character is handling check-in duties. Some have suggested that the video being played might have originated from an episode of the Disney Channel series, Jessie.

“User X posted on social media about Adam Sandler featuring Cameron Boyce as a cameo in #HappyGilmore2. It’s touching because Sandler truly cared for the young actor and I’m glad he continues to keep his spirit alive. Another user mentioned that this tribute in Happy Gilmore 2 makes their heart melt.”

Previously, Sandler has honored the star from “Descendants” on multiple occasions. Specifically, during the credit sequence of his 2020 Netflix movie, “Hubie Halloween,” he made a heartfelt tribute to this individual.

In tender remembrance of CAMERON BOYCE, this tribute, accompanied by a picture of Boyce, stated. “Departed far too early and one of the sweetest, hippest, funniest, and most gifted youngsters we ever knew. Your spirit lingers eternally in our hearts and you are deeply missed each day.

In July 2019, Boyce passed away at the tender age of 20, following a seizure that was related to a persistent health issue he had been managing through treatment, as confirmed by his family to TopMob News then.

Not long after Boyce passed away, Sandler too shared thoughts on the actor’s enduring impact and their intimate bond.

On Twitter, he expressed that the individual was too young, yet incredibly sweet, hilarious, kind-hearted, exceptionally gifted, and genuinely good-natured.”

Or simply:
“He posted on Twitter that the person was overly charming, excessively amusing, and far too adorable for their age. They were also remarkably talented, decent, and wonderful.

Sandler went on saying, “He was a child we adored. He had such deep affection for his loved ones and for the globe itself. Thank you, Cameron, for everything you shared with us. There was so much more to come. Our hearts are shattered by this loss.
