Bethesda announced that a third update for Starfield will be released next week on all platforms – PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
A new update is rolling out to address crashes, stability problems, and several gameplay issues in Starfield. The full list of changes will be available when the update is released. This is the third patch focused on fixing crashes that have been impacting players on the PS5 version of the game.
With the release of their second patch, Bethesda’s announcement seemed to indicate they believed they had resolved the game’s crashing problems. They thanked players for their feedback and directed anyone still experiencing issues to contact their support team.
The update coming next week isn’t just for PS5, but it will focus on fixing crashes on both consoles and PCs.
After the release of the second Starfield update for PlayStation 5, we tested the game again to see if it still crashed. Unfortunately, we continued to experience crashes, especially when in crowded locations, building outposts, or customizing ships. We’re hoping the next update will finally fix these issues.
